Greetings, Friday, I am seeking the weekend ....

Almost didn't get this done today.

Currently reading ECHOES IN DEATH by JD Robb. This is 44th of 44 in series featuring Eve Dallas, a homicide lieutenant in futuristic New York City.

As NY Lt. Eve Dallas and her billionaire husband Roarke are driving home, a young woman―dazed, naked, and bloody―suddenly stumbles out in front of their car. Roarke slams on the brakes and Eve springs into action. Daphne Strazza is rushed to the ER, but it’s too late for her husband Dr. Anthony Strazza. A brilliant orthopedic surgeon, he now lies dead amid the wreckage of his obsessively organized town house, his three safes opened and emptied. Daphne would be a valuable witness, but in her terror and shock the only description of the perp she can offer is repeatedly calling him “the devil”... While it emerges that Dr. Strazza was cold, controlling, and widely disliked, this is one case where the evidence doesn’t point to the spouse. So Eve and her team must get started on the legwork, interviewing everyone from dinner-party guests to professional colleagues to caterers, in a desperate race to answer some crucial questions: What does the devil look like? And where will he show up next?
Published in 2017, it has 384 pages.  Love and adore this series. Love and adore Robb/Roberts' writing.

Finally, NCIS: Los Angeles is back (briefly). If you remember, they left us two or three weeks ago with a cliff hanger. Yes, we've been kept waiting ....

"Payback":

Emotions run high for the team as one agent is held in an unknown location and tortured by the mole, while another discovers he was betrayed by someone he least expected.

And we have The Walking Dead "New Best Friends":

On the search for a missing Alexandrian, Rick and his group encounter a mysterious collective, whose inhabitants are unlike any they have come across.

No plans this weekend other than a haircut tomorrow. Probably getting some groceries and the usual chores. Otherwise ....

Have a good weekend!

Eh, not so bad

Back to work today. Nothing spectacular. Stuff to catch up on. And it's practically already the weekend again.

Didn't quite finish my book last night. I know I've only got about less than ten percent to go. Probably tonight will do it.

Nothing on TV for me tonight. Don't know what's for dinner. I do know we'll hang with the dogs and then go to bed.

I don't really have anything else right now. Sorry.

Have a great Thursday

Much love,

Extra tired out today

Well, it looks like I'll be going back to work tomorrow. Monday and Tuesday I didn't even nap though I tried to. Today .... I'm just tired. Could sleep all day.

Arrow tonight!!

"Spectre of the Gun":

A traumatic attack on City Hall triggers painful memories for Rene about his family. Flashbacks reveal how Rene went from being a simple family man to a hero named Wild Dog. Meanwhile, Oliver must deal with the perpetrator behind the attack and realizes the best way to do so is as Mayor Queen instead of the Green Arrow; and tensions run high in the Arrow bunker.

Almost done with the Kelley Armstrong book. About 25% left.

Have a good one

Happy Valentine's Day

Nope, actually still at home. Somebody else's personal issues.

I guess the plan is the same until Friday when the receptionist requested the day off.

I wish I were having a binge watch fit or an unput-downable book to read, but I'll make some more progress on cleaning my office area.

Curse of Oak Island on TV tonight. "Of Sticks and Stones":
A major dilemma interrupts the search for the original Money Pit.

That's it. Just hangin' out.

Wellll.....

Actually I'm home today. Not ill. Let's call it a break for I don't know how long.

Nothing on TV for me tonight.

The class I had on Saturday was an introduction into a new way of interpreting the source information of Human Design which I've been studying off and on for the past 2-3 years.

It was via online video meeting and I eventually got used to seeing myself on the screen.

I was anticipating a two-hour event but it actually turned out to be three. Learned interesting stuff though.

So I'm hoping to get to a project today. My office.

Otherwise, I'll do some studying and reading. I've already got beef stew going in the crockpot. Dogs were walked and are now napping.

Have a good day

Glad it's almost the weekend

On the way to work this morning. I got myself some flowers. The blue just jumped out at me.

Sometimes it's just a good thing to do something nice for yourself.

Listening to:

On Sunday we have the mid-season return of The Walking Dead "Rock In the Road":

Rick and the group are led to a new community, where they are introduced to its inhabitants and ruler; and a familiar face resurfaces.

No NCIS: Los Angeles again this week because of the stupid Grammys. But we'll get through this together.

I have an online class tomorrow morning but otherwise it will be the usual weekend stuff.

Have a good weekend

Who ordered all this damn snow?!

We got about 4 or 5 inches of snow in the last couple days on top of the snow that hasn't really gone away. Today's high is in the teens. Tomorrow will be in the 40s. When all this snow melts, it will be time for waders. Or boats.

Arrow tonight!

"Bratva":
A mission takes Oliver, Felicity and the team to Russia, where they meet up with Oliver's old friend, Anatoly. Meanwhile, fresh out of rehab, Lance returns to the mayor's office ready to get back to work. However, when Susan asks for an interview with Lance to discuss his addiction, he balks and it's up to Rene to help keep things on track.

I finished the DePoy book. It was an even better read than I thought it would be. Yes, Marlowe and Walsingham, but it had even more intrigue, agents and double agents, than I thought it would. Lovely.

I will probably be starting A DARKNESS ABSOLUTE by Kelley Armstrong. 2nd of 2 in series featuring Casey Duncan, a homicide detective with a secret, living off the grid in the wilds of northern Canada.

When experienced homicide detective Casey Duncan first moved to the secret town of Rockton, she expected a safe haven for people like her, people running from their past misdeeds and past lives. She knew living in Rockton meant living off-the-grid completely: no cell phones, no Internet, no mail, very little electricity, and no way of getting in or out without the town council’s approval. What she didn’t expect is that Rockton comes with its own set of secrets and dangers. Now, in A Darkness Absolute, Casey and her fellow Rockton sheriff’s deputy Will chase a cabin-fevered resident into the woods, where they are stranded in a blizzard. Taking shelter in a cave, they discover a former resident who’s been held captive for over a year. When the bodies of two other women turn up, Casey and her colleagues must find out if it’s an outsider behind the killings or if the answer is more complicated than that...before another victim goes missing.

Published in 2017, it has 400 pages.

Have a good one!
