Because it's Monday

Tonight I have Arrow, "The Longbow Hunters":

In order to track down Diaz from inside prison, Oliver realizes that it will require aligning with an old enemy. Meanwhile, in Star City, Felicity’s attempts to root out Diaz are thwarted by Diggle, whose allegiance to A.R.G.U.S. now requires him to keep civilians like her on the outs. Realizing that she can no longer rely on her old team or old methods, a clear-eyed Felicity resolves to find a new way to go after Diaz.
I got some good work done on my book. Prepping for NaNoWriMo. Fleshing out the beats. I'm kinda stuck in the 2nd act. I know what has to happen but I don't know the details. I need to do some research. Take the time to read. Aggressively.

I realized today that I won't be giving out Halloween candy. Halloween falls on a Wednesday. Steve has the gun range. It takes the both of us to do it. One to open the door (me) and one to hold the dogs (Steve).

Will I buy candy anyway? Maybe.

Have a good day

My plans for the weekend

Well, at least one of the things I will be doing. But equally as much, working on the book.

I've got NCIS Los Angeles to watch on Sunday. I'll be watching the newly released season 3 of Daredevil when I can.

Have a good weekend.

Friday is close ... I can sense it

Tonight I have Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Making the Team. "Time's Up":

Judy gets tough at rehearsal. The candidates learn how to carry themselves under pressure at etiquette training. The first Show Group performance of the year. New members of Show Group, the ladies must shine in front of Charlotte.

I worked some on my book last night. The spreadsheets to help track things.

That's about it. Hopefully I get some more done again tonight. Fourteen days until NaNoWriMo.

Have a great day

Work on a Wednesday

Nothing on TV for me tonight. Last night I didn't manage to watch This Is Us so I could do that. I finally got Steve to watch Daredevil on Netflix, the first couple episodes. I watched it when it came out in 2015 so it's been a while for me.

Season 3 is starting on Friday at last. It's been over a year wait. Steve has Daredevil Season 1, Daredevil Season 2, and The Defenders to watch before he would catch on to what's happening on season 3. There was a sort of cliffhanger for this character in The Defenders.

And if we were really nitpicky about it, he'd also watch Jessica Jones seasons 1 and 2, Luke Cage seasons 1 and 2, and Iron Fist seasons 1 and 2.

Steve has the gun range tonight. I'm really really really contemplating finally doing Nanowrimo this year.

I'm actually in a position with a book to do this.

There's a lot of pressure and it's dang hard but there's also a lot of support and resources to help you make your goal. And helpful fun things like suggesting making a book cover (above) to help motivation.

Because that's a lot each day, every day. Right now, I have 15 days to finish prepping if I do this. But wouldn't it be amazing to have that much accomplished before the end of the year? And to be really serious about, I would have to be writing every evening so I would have to give up watching my shows for the month and catch up in December.

Just no excuses.

Have a good day

You didn't work on your book, did you

No, Mondays are hard.

And at work, Mondays are just tiring.

And I did some vacuuming I didn't get done over the weekend that really needed doing.

And I had the premiere of Arrow.

And Mondays in general just means going to bed as soon as one can.

Tonight I have This Is Us, "Vietnam":

A young Jack makes a decision that will impact the course of his life.
Have a good day.

Monday

Monday.

However ..... We finally have the Arrow season 7 premiere. It's on a new night. Again.

“Inmate 4587”

Following Oliver’s shocking decision to turn himself over to the FBI and reveal his identity as the Green Arrow to the public, Oliver has spent the past five months in Slabside Maximum Security Prison. Determined to keep a low profile to shorten his sentence for the sake of his family, Oliver is tested when he runs into old foes. Meanwhile, Diggle and Dinah have taken on new jobs and left their costumes behind but not everyone is following suit. With her focus on William, Felicity tries to start over but when someone from her past resurfaces, things become complicated.

Have a good day

It's Friiiiiiiiidaaaaaaaaayyyy!

Alrighty then.

No Battlebots. Their season is over. We do have Live PD. Oh, I had a Shakespeare thing on PBS I wanted to check out tonight.

On Sunday, I have NCIS Los Angeles, "Hit List":

The NCIS team is in danger after their pictures, as well as Mosley and her son’s names, are included on a cartel hit list. Also, NCIS Deputy Director Louis Ochoa arrives with Special Prosecutor John Rogers to interview Mosley about the off-the-books mission in Mexico
Dang he's pretty in this photo!

No plans for the weekend. I don't have to go anywhere. Hopefully some good work put in the book. Napping. Cleaning (what's that?). Interneting. Just stay home and do the usual.

Have a good weekend
