It's a FOUR DAY WEEKEND!!

Yowza! It's finally here. I've waited all year for this four-day weekend.

And, yes, we'll regret it next Monday with double the craziness.

But until then .....

Tomorrow for Thanksgiving dinner, it'll just be Steve and I and we'll just be having the basics. I'm making one outside-the-norm thing because Steve likes pineapple. Apparently there's a thing in the South of Pineapple Casserole.

Pineapple, Ritz, and sharp cheddar cheese are the main ingredients in it. Looked like fun. We'll eat about 1:00-ish.

Cowboys game about 2:00-ish. But there'll probably be naps involved.

Mostly for these four days I'll be home beading, working on a couple ornaments for the sale on Sunday. I think Sunday is really the only time I'll be leaving the house. We've got a snow storm coming.

I'll probably catch some episodes of Jack Ryan and The Crown while working on the beading.

Steve has the gun range tonight; I'll be beading. Friday and Saturday on TV we'll have live episodes of Live PD. On Sunday, I'll have NCIS Los Angeles, "Mother":

Akhos Laos, a former black ops agent originally recruited and trained by Hetty Lange, returns to seek revenge on Hetty for the life she introduced him to. It is their 250th episode and written by the actor above, Eric Christian Olson.
It looks really good.

Have a great weekend!

Get. Me. Out.

Oy, for a three-day work week, it's been stressful.

Tonight on TV, I only have Curse of Oak Island, "The Lucky Thirteen":

After years of searching, the team believes they have found the elusive flood tunnel that will lead them to the Money Pit and Gary discovers a mysterious artifact that may have a connection to the Founding Fathers..
I will keep working on the Christmas ornament beading project. I've got three of the six "branches" done so far on the first ornament.

And things will be better tomorrow.

Have a good day

Monday kind of feeling

Yes, but it's a short week (that we will pay for next week but on this side, who cares?)

I made four bracelets over the weekend using beads from the subscription boxes I've gotten over the past few months.

To sell at the bead store on Sunday. I'm also selling my Robin Egg's Blue Hubble bracelet and the rose quartz bracelet.

We'll see if anyone shows up to buy. I'm going to be working on a couple ornaments between now and then.

But with red beads at the tips of the "branches." One red, one green.

On TV tonight, we have Street Outlaws No Prep Kings. I'll bead during that.

I'm also reading REDOUBTABLE by Mike Shepherd. 8th of 17 in series featuring Kris Longknife (SFF).

Lieutenant Commander Kris Longknife has precise orders: seek out, engage, and destroy pirates, slavers, and drug lords operating beyond the rim of human space-without interfering in Peterwald family affairs. But when slavers kidnap a twelve-year-old girl, Kris's mission becomes personal. And if destroying the pirate compound flattens some Peterwald interests-well, to hell with politics.

Plan for the weekend

However, I have a bead class tomorrow and I have to get groceries for Thanksgiving.

Tonight on TV we'll watch Live PD. I'm going to prep for some beading projects. I won't be doing the class per se tomorrow but I will work on a project that I can sell the next day. I'm thinking a memory wire bracelet would be quick and fairly easy. One of the subscription boxes I got this month had a theme of "coffee" which had some coffee-type charms and brown and cream bead kind of things. So something similar to this only more variety.

But you can see that it is that coiled kind of bracelet. I'm planning a copper one for myself but I was also thinking maybe I could make another one this week, a rosary, to sell at next Sunday's bead store thingy. And some ornaments.

On Sunday I have NCIS Los Angeles, "Kill Beale Vol. 1":

Callen and Sam travel to San Francisco to search for Beale after he’s kidnapped during a clandestine mission for Hetty

Otherwise, this weekend just beading, some reading, some napping, some cleaning.

Have a good weekend

Weekend now please?

Third day out for our Service Manager. I totally get it and today in general has been easier than the last couple but I still am ready for a weekend.

Nothing on TV tonight but I need to do some beading. I didn't at all last night; I just needed to recover from the work stress.

I could start playing with this project that I could maybe sell next weekend:

Or this one in different colors:

And I need to complete the candy cane ornament.

I stopped by Hobby Lobby today on my lunch. Wow were they busy.

Have a good day

A sense of humor is a must

Wednesday. Service Manager still out. Sounds like he has what I had.

Steve has the gun range tonight. I'll watch The Masked Singer.

I think I may be reading THE TENTH MUSE by Catherine Chung. Stand alone.

From childhood, Katherine knows she is different, and that her parents are not who they seem to be. But in becoming a mathematician, she must face the most human of problems--who is she? What is the cost of love, and what is the cost of ambition? On her quest to conquer the Riemann Hypothesis, the greatest unsolved mathematical problem of her time, she turns to a theorem with a mysterious history that holds both the lock and key to her identity, and to secrets long buried during World War II in Germany. Forced to confront some of the most consequential events of the twentieth century and rethink everything she knows of herself, she strives to take her place in the world of higher mathematics and finds kinship in the stories of the women who came before her--their love of the language of numbers connecting them across generations.

Mental state

Tuesday. Crazy busy and our Service Manager is out with the crud.  But, hey, I ate a sandwich for lunch and had no repercussions! You know what that means....

Tonight on TV we have The Curse of Oak Island, "The Eye of the Swamp":

Gary detects a strange, stone structure embedded in the swamp and after years of searching and speculation, the Laginas get scientific proof that the swamp is young and likely manmade...

Then I have This Is Us, "So Long, Marianne":

The Pearson family gathers for their first Thanksgiving at Randall's Philadelphia townhouse.

And then New Amsterdam, "The Island":

When an inmate comes in with an entirely preventable illness, Max, Sharpe, and Iggy head directly to the source - Rikers Island. Meanwhile, Bloom struggles with her recovery, and Reynolds gets news that could change his life.

Have a good day
