Wannnnnt the weekend

TGIF

No plans for the weekend, that is, I'm not going anywhere. I don't really want to leave the house.

I may have to get groceries but that's it.

Tonight on TV we have Live PD and Strike Back, "Episode 3":

Section 20 is in Tel Aviv, tracing a man with stolen Russian military tech that he plans to sell to Zayef and Mahir. A notorious Israeli gangster makes matters even more complicated. Luckily, S20 picks up a highly-trained friend along the way.
On Sunday I have NCIS Los Angeles, "Alsiyadun":

When Fatima is captured while on a mission and held for ransom, Callen and Sam enlist a deep undercover CIA agent, Kadri, to help get her back

We'll also watch, probably, The Walking Dead which I'm finding so boring these days but oh well.

I hope to nap, read, and bead and some cleaning. And I haven't watched the shows from Tuesday.  I've got to keep Coda quiet because I'll be taking off the bandage on his paw to let it air for a few hours. It's healing pretty ok.

Have a good weekend

When is the freaking weekend getting here?

Thursday. We're doing okay.

Nothing on TV tonight. I haven't beaded the last few evenings at all. Tired but also just spending time with the boys.

I've read a bit of a the Griffiths. I'm on page 137. Yes, I'm reading an actual book, not Kindle.

So just one more sleep until Friday.

Have a good day

Phhlllllbbbbbbt

Wednesday.

But we keep plugging away.

Tonight, Steve has the gun range. I'll watch The Masked Singer and maybe some beading. Tonight we have performances from:

I think my next bead crochet project are these:

Which the pattern creator designed from this famous photo:

As ever, we'll see if it happens or not.

Had it up to here

Well .... don't have to worry about the service manager not calling in anymore. Quit. No notice. Left the key when the business was closed.

Indeed.

Yep.

At this point since the first of the year he'd missed 13 full days and 4 half days. Migraine, he said. Some of them perhaps but he never provided a doctor's note. And since October 1st, he'd missed a total of 28 days. So it's not a surprise exactly and we're better off without him and his excessive absences. It's just a freaking pain.

I've suggested to Steve that we save the money from a salary and hassle of trying to find yet another service manager and manage without one for a while.

The really painful part is doing inventory in April. Sigh.

Tonight on TV, we've got The Curse of Oak Island "Burnt Offering":

Fred Nolan's theory that a ship was buried in the swamp centuries ago may be true according to new, hard evidence.

And on This Is Is, "Clouds":

'This Is Us' Season 4 Episode 15 Preview: Will Randall finally open up about his biggest fears in 'Clouds'?

Kevin spends the day with Rebecca. Toby makes a grand gesture. The Big Three get their report cards...

And on New Amsterdam, "Double Blind":

Tasked with turning the opioid epidemic around, Max shuts down the ED and proposes a huge change. Meanwhile, Sharpe goes to great lengths to prove a point...

We'll see if I stay up to watch any of these.

Have a good day

So I'm here on a Monday ....

.... and guess who isn't?

Nothing on TV tonight. I do have a new episode of Outlander to watch but Steve won't be interested so that may be a Wednesday night thing.

The class this weekend was fun. Neither of my friends showed up but that's ok. My bead friends are wonderful.

I'm about to start THE LANTERN MEN by Elly Griffiths. 12th of 12 in series featuring Dr. Ruth Galloway, a forensic archaeologist, and Harry Nelson, a detective chief inspector, in the Saltmarsh area near Norfolk, England.

Everything has changed for Dr Ruth Galloway. She has a new job, home and partner, and is no longer North Norfolk police's resident forensic archaeologist. That is, until convicted murderer Amyas March offers to make DCI Nelson a deal. Nelson was always sure that March killed more women than he was charged with. Now March confirms this, and offers to show Nelson where the other bodies are buried - but only if Ruth will do the digging. Curious, but wary, Ruth agrees. March tells Ruth that he killed four more women and that their bodies are buried near a village bordering the fens, said to be haunted by the Lantern Men, mysterious figures holding lights that lure travellers to their deaths. Is Amyas March himself a lantern man, luring Ruth back to Norfolk? What is his plan, and why is she so crucial to it? And are the killings really over?

The end at last

The end of the week. TGIF. We made it.

I've got a bead class tomorrow. Here's the project:

My pinch beads are gold. From there ... I'm not sure yet.

Tonight we have Live PD and Strike Back to watch. "Episode 2":

After catching wind of a feud brewing between Edon and his son Loric, S20 launches a raid on their family business in hopes of extracting the location of the bioweapon from Loric, whose self-serving cooperation leads them to an exchange between Edon and jihadist..

I'll be working on my bead crochet.

On Sunday, I have NCIS Los Angeles, "The Circle":

Anna Kolcheck returns to warn Callen that he is in danger and he must now work with an archenemy to stop an underground trafficking ring

Blech, Anna. I may not watch it after all.

Otherwise, I truly just want to nap with the boys.

Have a good weekend
