The week has done me in

I don't want to play office anymore this week. I've given it my all. I don't have anything left.

I've had a couple mini-meltdowns so I'm obviously done with dealing with humans now.

Tonight, I'm not sure what we're having for dinner as Steve has said he's a little burned out on Chinese food but I'm not cooking. We'll watch Live PD which finally live again after a couple weeks off.

And perhaps I'll have a glass of wine/7UP.

No plans for the weekend other than cleaning and getting groceries. Here's some of the future beading projects I have brewing, i.e. I have the materials either in hand or on the way.

I mean, how can you not love doing this? The creativity and possibilities are so much fun. Next step is to set up the means to sell them.

I may start to watch/available today a new miniseries via Amazon called Good Omens, based on the book by Neil Gaiman, starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen.

I also need to so some reading. I'm way behind schedule and I really haven't done much all week.

Have a great weekend

Done. Finito.

Hit the limit today. Had a mini personal melt down.

 Better now.

Nothing on TV tonight. We'll have dinner and then I will keep working on my beading projects.

It's my current happy place.

Have a good day

Halfway through the week

Nothing on TV tonight. Steve has the gun range and it doesn't look like it will rain this evening so he'll probably not cancel it. Thank goodness.

I will bead tonight. I finished my sister's bracelet but I want to redo it. I don't like the clasp and it needs to be a little longer. Here's what it looks like in close up.

So that will take the evening if the boys will let me. Coda in particular doesn't like me at the kitchen table. He wants me to be in the living room or he can't rest.

Here's the next couple projects materials:

'Course I still haven't watched Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. from last Friday yet. And I have books to read.

Oh, here's a wonderful piece of art I found yesterday. Lord Mesa does these great scenes from Marvel and DC comics and pop culture.

I would buy that if I came across a print of it.

Have a good day

Swell, just swell.

Well, the end of three days off already.

And here we are back at work.

Yeah but it's only four days this week.

Not a great photo but this is a close up of the black tourmaline bracelet I made on Friday evening.

It looks better in person because the beads along the side sparkle in the light. I love it. I'm keeping it; it's mine.

Nothing on TV tonight so I'll keep working on another bracelet. This on uses the copper-colored diamond-shaped beads I had gotten for a class at Buy the Bead but I could never make that flower design work well.

So I'm re-purposing those beads and will be gifting it. I hope to finish it tonight.

Have a good day

The three-day weekend, at last

TGIF

Tonight Live PD isn't live again but I do have Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. "Fear and Loathing on the Planet Kitson":

It’s a wild night out on the planet of Kitson for the agents. While Fitz and Enoch try their luck at the casino, nearby, Daisy and Simmons find themselves in a much … groovier situation
Tomorrow afternoon I have a Danielle Egnew forum, "How to Thrive Even Amidst Deep Negativity":

Danielle provides tools for how to create a beautiful and peaceful perimeter within the self, even amidst the most chaotic lessons imaginable, so that your most vibrant life path may be enacted.
I didn't get a chance to work on my black tourmaline bracelet last night. I had the wrong beads. I did, however, fix the brown stone bracelet that had broken. Tonight I want to really quickly work on the black one so I can wear it tomorrow to the forum.

I'm just starting reading CLEANING THE GOLD by Karin Slaughter and Lee Child. An 89-page short crossover. Will Trent!

Will Trent is undercover at Fort Knox. His assignment: to investigate a twenty-two-year-old murder.  His suspect's name: Jack Reacher. Jack Reacher is in Fort Knox on his own mission: to bring down a dangerous criminal ring operating at the heart of America’s military.  Except now Will Trent is on the scene. But there’s a bigger conspiracy at play – one that neither the special agent nor the ex-military cop could have anticipated. And the only option is for Jack Reacher and Will Trent to team up and play nicely. If they can…

 Published May 2019; 89 pages.

I finally finished the slog that the Kaufman/Kristoff book turned out to be. Their previous trilogy, ILLUMINAE, was fantastic. This one ... not so much.

I will be starting RESOLUTE by Mike Shepherd. 4th of 14 in Kris Longknife SFF series.

Kris Longknife has been given her first independent command in the very remote system of Chance, an assignment that's as much exile as promotion. But Kris isn't on the job long when she captures pirates hiding the location of an uncharted and unpopulated planet of miraculous technology.

Published 2006; 356 pages.

Otherwise for the weekend, I really hope to do some cleaning. It needs it badly.

Otherwise, I went to the bead store on my lunch break and got some supplies to finish the bracelets and practice a new technique.

And then there will be the usual napping, computering, and hanging with the boys.

Have a good weekend

Much love,
