Hey, but we already worked yesterday!

 Tuesday.

I had very good creative luck yesterday evening. I've solved the puzzle of four out of five of the smoky quartz in the FOC I received. I designed a bracelet and a necklace. And they will look SPECTACULAR.

If things go well, I'll assemble the two pieces tonight. I have one more of the smoky quartz to go. (and the other projects of course).

 There's always more in beading.

 New mystery release alert:

I'm a book behind so I'll have to catch up later. I'm still reading the Robert Jordan and will be for a while as it is a very big book. But another release today is one I may read concurrently.

 Have a good day

Dunno ... feels like a Monday for some reason

 Monday.

I worked on my Found Objects Challenge (FOC) this weekend. I've got to get moving on it because it has to all be done by Sunday night. The challenge ends on Monday the 6th.

I finished two necklaces, a pair of earrings, and a bracelet. Halfway through another necklace. I still have (perhaps) two more necklaces, three more bracelets, and a couple pair of earrings. The earrings are the biggest maybes. Tonight I hope to do at least two of the bracelets.

I also binged the first season of a Hallmark Channel series called Chesapeake Shores. It was free on Amazon Prime. I had it running while I beaded on Saturday.

Hallmark is smart to develop these kinds of series. They have a HUGE stable of actors for their movies and they gotta keep them busy somehow. Yeah, so, now I'm probably hooked-ish on this one and will watch the other seasons. I think they're on season 5 now. But you kinda have to not analyze it too much. Five siblings, only one is married but now divorced with two daughters, have all come home to roost with dad (divorced but mom is coming back in the picture) and grandma in the spectacular big house on the shore of the bay. They don't seem to have many outside friends; they all just hang out together. They eat together a lot. Being Hallmark, they have some dramas but they get resolved pretty quickly. Still it's a pleasant show. Based on books by Sheryl Woods, I think.

Have a good day

Friday ... outta here

 TGIF

Steve is going out of town tomorrow for pretty much all day. I'll be staying home with the boys. I hope to work on some of the Found Object Challenge pieces. I'll read. I'll binge watch. Nap. Etc.

And I'll like it very much.

OMG seriously

 Tuesday

Though the receptionist is back but she was doing deep sighing.

Currently reading THE FIRES OF HEAVEN by Robert Jordan. 5th of 14 in Wheel of Time fantasy series.

Into the forbidden city of Rhuidean, where Rand al'Thor, now the Dragon Reborn, must conceal his present endeavor from all about him, even Egwene and Moiraine. Into the Amyrlin's study in the White Tower, where the Amyrlin, Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan, is weaving new plans. Into the luxurious hidden chamber where the Forsaken Rahvin is meeting with three of his fellows to ensure their ultimate victory over the Dragon. Into the Queen's court in Caemlyn, where Morgase is curiously in thrall to the handsome Lord Gaebril. For once the dragon walks the land, the fires of heaven fall where they will, until all men's lives are ablaze. And in Shayol Ghul, the Dark One stirs...

Published 1993; 926 pages. Reread though I read it in 1993 so I don't remember much.

Last night turned into a fend-for-your-self for dinner because Steve didn't get home until 7:45 ...

I'm probably going to pick up some sandwiches for dinner and call it good. And then the usual read and bed.

Have a good day

Ducking mad Monday

Monday. Receptionist called in sick.

 On a Monday.

Currently reading THE WEDDING NIGHT AFFAIR by L.C. Sharp. 1st of 2 in historical series.

The year is 1748, and Lady Juliana Uppingham awakens in a pool of blood, with no memory of how her new husband ended up dead beside her. Her distaste for her betrothed was no secret, but even so, Juliana couldn’t possibly have killed him…could she? Juliana’s only hope is Sir Edmund Ashendon, a dashing baronet with a knack for solving seemingly unsolvable crimes—and a reputation for trouble. A man as comfortable in the rookeries of St. Giles as he is in the royal court, Ash believes Juliana is innocent, though all signs point to her as the killer. He doesn’t expect to develop a soft spot for the spirited widow, one that only grows when escalating threats against Juliana force Ash to shelter her in his home. When another body is found, it becomes clear that Juliana has been dragged into something much, much bigger than simply her husband’s murder. With a collection of deadly black-tipped feathers as their sole clue and a date at the end of a hangman’s noose looming, they’ll have to find the real killer—before it’s too late.

Published 2021; 249 pages.

I went to the bead shop on Saturday. Just Ann (running the store while Barb was away) and Jim and then Pat showed up. I worked on a potential necklace out of my Found Objects with some of the ugly red beads. It will be red, black and white.

Today I've been thinking in the background of my mind, what to do with the chain which will be a charm bracelet. So progress is being made.

Tonight, I have a feeling we'll just do something simple for dinner, I'll read and go to bed.

Have a good day
