Yikes. We had a transformer pop at work this afternoon but luckily there doesn't seem to be anything about it other than the noise and some sparks.
Steve's got the gun range tonight. He's got a tournament on Saturday so I'm sure people will show up therefore he needs to be there to run it. I don't have anything on TV so I'm not sure what I'll end up doing.

So I was sick for the past couple weeks and not posting. NOT Covid. Another bout of cellulitis in my leg.
I read a LOT while I had to keep my leg elevated (can't bead on a slant). The happiest of them was the series by Elizabeth Moon. In fact, currently reading the third of the series.
Currently reading ECHOES OF BETRAYAL. Third of 5 in the the Paladin's Legacy fantasy series.

Currently reading THE TOLLS OF DEATH by Michael Jecks. 17th of 32 in series featuring Simon Puttock, medieval West County bailiff, and Sir Baldwin Furnshill, ex-Templar Knight.

We don't have any plans for the long weekend. I've gotten Steve a couple little things but otherwise we're not exchanging gifts. Today, Christmas Eve, we're closing between noon and one. I've got meatballs going in the crock pot. I'll make garlic masked potatoes and Mustard Seed green beans. Tomorrow we'll have turkey dinner. After that ... I don't know.
Saturday, I'll probably go to the bead shop. Otherwise, we're going to relax and lay low.

Steve's got the gun range tonight. I'm hoping to make meatballs tonight to put in the crockpot in the morning. I forgot to take the hamburger out this morning. I'll have to do the microwave thaw.
Maybe I could do the baking of Steve's pumpkin pie tonight, too.
Otherwise, I'm tired. I was up and down with the boys last night until midnight-ish so only about 5 hours of real sleep. I'll read then go to bed. Short day tomorrow!

I spent Saturday afternoon at the bead shop. Nice to be around my friends. I was working on a little project for a Christmas present for my friend Kim. I'd seen on Etsy little beaded bracelets that have a name, word, or meaning phrase spelled out in morse code.
An example there of a very simple one. I worked on that gift idea yesterday.
Nothing really on TV tonight. I'm hoping to drive up to the Rims and see if I can view the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction. Fingers crossed.
