The Weekend Ended Face

 Tuesday

We had a good weekend. Steve went ATV-ing and then complained about sore muscles the rest of the time. I finished my FOC jewelry on Saturday and didn't feel like making anything more.

Here's what I started with:

 Here's what I designed:

The random winner will be picked tonight and the September FOC will be available for purchase after that. Yep, I'm gonna do it again.

And I hope I don't get Ugly Red Beads (URB) again. Or something similar. I want pretty beads!

After that, this weekend I binged some Without A Trace on HBOMax and read a lot of the Robert Jordan fantasy. I'm at 57%  (of a 926 page book). And today I'm about to start a new release.

FORGOTTEN IN DEATH by JD Robb. 53rd of 54 in series featuring Eve Dallas, a homicide lieutenant in futuristic New York City.

The body was left in a dumpster like so much trash, the victim a woman of no fixed address, known for offering paper flowers in return for spare change—and for keeping the cops informed of any infractions she witnessed on the street. But the notebook where she scribbled her intel on litterers and other such offenders is nowhere to be found. Then Eve is summoned away to a nearby building site to view more remains—in this case decades old, adorned with gold jewelry and fine clothing—unearthed by recent construction work. She isn’t happy when she realizes that the scene of the crime belongs to her husband, Roarke—not that it should surprise her, since the Irish billionaire owns a good chunk of New York. Now Eve must enter a complex world of real estate development, family history, shady deals, and shocking secrets to find justice for two women whose lives were thrown away…

 Published 2021; 378 pages.

Steve has a board meeting tonight. I'm thinking of picking up some sandwiches from Pickle Barrel so he'll have something to eat afterward ... and I don't have to cook anything.

I'll have the FOC/Thunderhorse Descendent live stream to watch. And then some reading and then some sleeping.

Have a good day

Much love,

PK the Bookeemonster
