I'm sure the boys are doing worse than this

Well Maybe if you Played Horsie With Me Once in Awhile...

It's been difficult to find a time to post since I've switched jobs, now working for my husband. In my previous job we had a half hour lunch which allowed us to go home at 4:30. That extra half hour really makes a difference. I'm working now until 5, sometimes having to run errands after work, and then I come home the boys who've been left inside all day (because we can't trust them yet not to escape the yard) and I feel I need to spend time with them because they've been neglected all day.

I then deal with dinner and some evenings I have TV shows but most evenings I'm just plain tired and spend the little time after dinner and bedtime reading because I have to read to keep sane. Reading is like breathing, almost, to me. So long story short, I haven't figured out how to carve out time to work on the blog yet but the time will come. The job will settle down and life will settle down after Steve's dad's funeral next Saturday. I haven't even had time to really be on the computer/Internet that much to keep up with the news and emails.

Tomorrow I have errands to run - groceries, dog food, clothes -- and I'm having coffee with my friend Beth in the morning at B&N so that will be nice. Also have to the usual cleaning, etc.

I'm also reading on Kindle, ALLEGIANT by Veronica Roth. This is 3rd of the DIVERGENT trilogy. Here is a description:
The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is shattered—fractured by violence and power struggles and scarred by loss and betrayal. So when offered a chance to explore the world past the limits she's known, Tris is ready. Perhaps beyond the fence, she and Tobias will find a simple new life together, free from complicated lies, tangled loyalties, and painful memories. But Tris's new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. And once again, Tris must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature—and of herself—while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice, and love.
Published in 2013, it has 545 pages.

Tonight, I have Say Yes to the Dress-Atlanta and Strike Back-Origins to watch. Taco salad for dinner.

Hopefully see you tomorrow.

Much love,
