I don't want to talk about it

Monday. Mercury Retrograde. Receptionist out for three days because of bereavement leave. New Service Manager just quit after one week, no notice.

I started a re-read of FRAMED IN LACE by Monica Ferris. 2nd of 19 in series featuring Betsy Devonshire, a needlework shop owner in Excelsior, Minnesota

When the historic Hopkins ferry is raised from the lake, a skeleton is discovered. Unfortunately, the only evidence is a piece of lace-like fabric. But once Betsy Devonshire and the patrons of her needlecraft shop lend a hand, they're sure to stitch together the details of this mystery...

Published 1999; 243 pages. I read this back when it came out - so about 25 years ago - I don't remember anything about the story.

No sprints tonight. Will watch more of season 4 of The Rookie, crochet, and read and go to bed.

Have a good day

Much love,

PK the Bookeemonster
