The three-day weekend, at last

TGIF

Tonight Live PD isn't live again but I do have Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. "Fear and Loathing on the Planet Kitson":

It’s a wild night out on the planet of Kitson for the agents. While Fitz and Enoch try their luck at the casino, nearby, Daisy and Simmons find themselves in a much … groovier situation
Tomorrow afternoon I have a Danielle Egnew forum, "How to Thrive Even Amidst Deep Negativity":

Danielle provides tools for how to create a beautiful and peaceful perimeter within the self, even amidst the most chaotic lessons imaginable, so that your most vibrant life path may be enacted.
I didn't get a chance to work on my black tourmaline bracelet last night. I had the wrong beads. I did, however, fix the brown stone bracelet that had broken. Tonight I want to really quickly work on the black one so I can wear it tomorrow to the forum.

I'm just starting reading CLEANING THE GOLD by Karin Slaughter and Lee Child. An 89-page short crossover. Will Trent!

Will Trent is undercover at Fort Knox. His assignment: to investigate a twenty-two-year-old murder.  His suspect's name: Jack Reacher. Jack Reacher is in Fort Knox on his own mission: to bring down a dangerous criminal ring operating at the heart of America’s military.  Except now Will Trent is on the scene. But there’s a bigger conspiracy at play – one that neither the special agent nor the ex-military cop could have anticipated. And the only option is for Jack Reacher and Will Trent to team up and play nicely. If they can…

 Published May 2019; 89 pages.

I finally finished the slog that the Kaufman/Kristoff book turned out to be. Their previous trilogy, ILLUMINAE, was fantastic. This one ... not so much.

I will be starting RESOLUTE by Mike Shepherd. 4th of 14 in Kris Longknife SFF series.

Kris Longknife has been given her first independent command in the very remote system of Chance, an assignment that's as much exile as promotion. But Kris isn't on the job long when she captures pirates hiding the location of an uncharted and unpopulated planet of miraculous technology.

Published 2006; 356 pages.

Otherwise for the weekend, I really hope to do some cleaning. It needs it badly.

Otherwise, I went to the bead store on my lunch break and got some supplies to finish the bracelets and practice a new technique.

And then there will be the usual napping, computering, and hanging with the boys.

Have a good weekend

Much love,
PK the Bookeemonster
