No time for explanation -- get in the car!

 Monday.

I had a pretty good weekend. I got my hair cut. It is rather like this:

Only not blonde. And I'm not Olivia Newton-John.

I did wind up going to bead group after I took a wee nap between the hair cut and then. And I actually worked on some beading rather than the bullet journal. I remembered how and everything.

Yesterday, I napped. A LOT.

Or so. And it felt good.

I was in the mood to continue the re-read of this series, so I started and I'm almost finished with  A FATAL WALTZ by Tasha Alexander. 3rd of 16 in series featuring

At her friend Ivy's behest, Lady Emily Ashton reluctantly agrees to attend a party at the sprawling English country estate of a man she finds odious. But the despised Lord Fortescue is not to be her greatest problem. Kristiana von Lange, an Austrian countess once linked romantically with Emily's fiancé, the debonair Colin Hargreaves, is a guest also. And a tedious evening turns deadly when their host is found murdered, and his protégé, Robert Brandon—Ivy's husband—is arrested for the crime. Determined to right a terrible wrong, Emily embarks on a quest that will lead her from London's glittering ballrooms to Vienna's sordid backstreets—and into a game of wits with a notorious anarchist. But putting Colin in deadly peril may be the price for exonerating Robert—forcing the intrepid Emily to bargain with her nemesis, the Countess von Lange, for the life of her fiancé.

Published 2008; 308 pages. I'm kinda killing time until the new Robert Galbaith comes out next week.

I tried a new salad yesterday. Thai beef salad. I'm such a spicy-hot wimp but it sounded good. I didn't put as much sriracha as the recipe called for but I put in more than I thought I would.

I actually liked it. I'll add it the repertoire. Today was Chicken Bacon Ranch. Ya know, I just don't fancy the chicken recipes as much.

Tonight we have  Street Outlaws to watch. On Saturday I binged the two episodes available for Making the Cut on Amazon. The series is back for season 3. I found out a couple weeks ago that the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders show was cancelled on CMT channel. I'm sad.

Have a good day

Much love,
