Goals

 Tuesday

I finished the Victoria Thompson book. Very pleasant. Gotta get back to that series. About to start the audiobook of EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY HAS KILLED SOMEONE by Benjamin Stevenson. 1st in new series.

Everyone in my family has killed someone. Some of us, the high achievers, have killed more than once. I’m not trying to be dramatic, but it is the truth. Some of us are good, others are bad, and some just unfortunate.I’m Ernest Cunningham. Call me Ern or Ernie. I wish I’d killed whoever decided our family reunion should be at a ski resort, but it’s a little more complicated than that.Have I killed someone? Yes. I have.Who was it? Let’s get started.

EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY HAS KILLED SOMEONE

My brother

My stepsister

My wife

My father

My mother

My sister-in-law

My uncle

My stepfather

My aunt

Me

Published 2023; 384 pages.

I may also read the next in another series or something else. I've wondered about my shift in reading taste. I'm being attracted to more romance, fantasies, and cozy mysteries lately. I can attribute it perhaps to two things. First, the YouTube readers I'm following read a lot of these genres and I'm getting recommendations and influences from them. Second, the stress of work and home in the last month or so have led to me not wanting to deal with anything "heavy". Or have any self-imposed obligations.

 It's a theory anyway.

Tonight, since we've gotten away from watching Curse of Oak Island, I'll probably read after feeding Ryker and Steve.

 Have a good day

Much love,

PK the Bookeemonster
