How did it get to be Monday again?
Receptionist called in. On the front desk. Can't stay too long here.
Currently re-reading HIGH DERYNI by Katherine Kurtz. 3rd of 3 in the Deryni Chronicles. Fantasy.
Young Kelson Haldane has claimed his birthright and assumed the throne of Gwynedd. For the first time in centuries, a king of Deryni heritage, possessing extraordinary magical abilities, rules the realm. But the priesthood of the Eleven Kingdoms has held sway over the Crown for generations. They decried the Deryni as witches and heretics, drove them underground, and usurped control of the kingdom. They have no intention of ceding their power to Kelson and his supporters — even if it means inciting civil war. Supported by the Church, an anti-Deryni leader has risen to prominence, dividing the people of the land. To end the conflict, King Kelson must face his enemies in battle — enemies willing to use the magic they so fear….
Tonight we'll watch Street Outlaws. I'll read and then get some sleep.

I hung there .... it's Friday
TGIF
Tonight we'll watch a bit of Live PD and have Chinese food for dinner. Tomorrow and Sunday I'll be taking my mom to see Montana Shakespeare in the Parks. They're doing Love's Labour's Lost and Othello this season.
Otherwise, I'll be doing the usual for the weekend.
Have a good weekend

I've had it!
Oy. Work. That's all I'm going to say.
But the stuff on the book is coming well. Getting good ideas.
Nothing on TV tonight for me. A good thing, I'm thinking.
Have a good day

Living the dream
Well the morning went ok. The afternoon is descending into minor drama, butt-hurt-ness, and chaos. But I shall remain above it.
Steve has the gun range tonight. I am feeling the book calling for some attention so hopefully I can get some work on that.
All righty then. Not much else to report.
Wait, almost stayed above the drama. Was on the phone explaining to a vendor that I didn't receive their invoice because they have a Missoula address instead of ours. Along with some other condescending comments, he called me "Dear." That makes my head explode.
Gonna need some chocolate or wine therapy.
Have a good day

Well that's not right ...
The week goes on.
Nothing on TV tonight. Probably a good thing because a new release for me came out today and I'd like to get going on it.
Just started THE RUSSIA HOAX: The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump by Gregg Jarrett. Nonfiction.
The Russia Hoax reveals how persons within the FBI and Barack Obama’s Justice Department worked improperly to help elect Hillary Clinton and defeat Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election. When this suspected effort failed, those same people appear to have pursued a contrived investigation of President Trump in an attempt to undo the election results and remove him as president. The evidence suggests that partisans within the FBI and the Department of Justice, driven by personal animus and a misplaced sense of political righteousness, surreptitiously acted to subvert electoral democracy in our country.
The book will examine:
With insightful analysis and a fact-filled narrative, The Russia Hoax delves deeply into Democrat wrongdoing.
- How did Hillary Clinton manage to escape prosecution despite compelling evidence she violated the law?
- Did Peter Strzok, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Loretta Lynch, and others obstruct justice by protecting Clinton?
- Why was there never a legitimate criminal investigation of Clinton in the Uranium One case?
- Are the text messages exchanged between Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page evidence of a concerted effort to undermine the electoral process?
- Was there ever any real evidence of "collusion" between Trump and the Russians?
- Did Trump obstruct justice in the firing of Comey or was he legally exercising his constitutional authority?
- Did the FBI and DOJ improperly use a discredited "dossier" about Trump to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on Trump associates?
- Should Muller have disqualified himself under the special counsel law based on glaring conflicts of interest?
- Was fired National Security Adviser Michael Flynn unfairly charged with making a false statement?
So just being a Tuesday. The usual frustrations and enjoyable stuff.
Have a good one

It's too much Monday out there
Monday is being Monday.
Done playing office today.
Currently reading A TRAIL THROUGH TIME by Jodi Taylor. 4th of 9 in the Chronicles of St. Mary's time travel series.
Max and Leon are re-united and looking forward to a peaceful lifetime together. But, sadly, they don't even make it to lunchtime. The action races from 17th century London to Ancient Egypt and from Pompeii to 14th century Southwark as they're pursued up and down the timeline, playing a perilous game of hide and seek until they're finally forced to take refuge at St Mary's - where new dangers await them. As usual, there are plenty of moments of humour, but the final, desperate, Battle of St Mary's is in grim earnest. Overwhelmed and outnumbered and with the building crashing down around them, how can St Mary's possibly survive? So, make sure the tea's good and strong...

Nothing on TV tonight. Hope to be a little productive.

It's not Friday yet!
I've sort of ran out of time to do a full job on the post today.
And this reminds me that I'm here in Montana and not in San Diego at Comic Con.
On the plus side, I'm feeling really gung-ho about my book. I'm actually working on Act One. Yay me!
It may be just a mood I'm in and won't last but I've got to get moving on this thing.
I've got to make a plan to do this regularly if not daily and just get it done.
Have a good evening

Milkaholic
Have I mentioned I hate summer. I hate being hot. It makes me cranky.
And of course July is the start of the hottest period of the year. I don't like it.
Steve has his Wednesday evening gone so I'll be able to hang with the boys and decompress.
I gave up on VICIOUS. I'm now starting a digital library loan, THE FINAL SIX by
Alexandra Monir. Stand alone.
When Leo and Naomi are drafted, along with twenty-two of the world’s brightest teenagers, into the International Space Training Camp, their lives are forever changed. Overnight, they become global celebrities in contention for one of the six slots to travel to Europa—Jupiter’s moon—and establish a new colony, leaving their planet forever. With Earth irreparably damaged, the future of the human race rests on their shoulders. For Leo, an Italian championship swimmer, this kind of purpose is a reason to go on after losing his family. But Naomi, an Iranian-American science genius, is suspicious of the ISTC and the fact that a similar mission failed under mysterious circumstances, killing the astronauts onboard. She fears something equally sinister awaiting the Final Six beneath Europa’s surface. In this cutthroat atmosphere, surrounded by strangers from around the world, Naomi finds an unexpected friend in Leo. As the training tests their limits, Naomi and Leo’s relationship deepens with each life-altering experience they encounter. But it’s only when the finalists become fewer and their destinies grow nearer that the two can fathom the full weight of everything at stake: the world, the stars, and their lives.

Bring it on; I can take it ...
Yesterday was definitely a Monday. I lost my cool in the afternoon. But I didn't hurt anybody.
Nothing really on TV tonight. Not even to really stare at the TV for. So maybe I'll read. Or do something productive.
However, I am feeling a little under the weather. Slight internal stuff. But Steve has it too so maybe it's a bug that will go away quickly. So maybe early to bed. Right. Like that would be different.
But I say that and something usually comes up or wakes me up in the middle of the night to keep me getting a full night of solid sleep.
Have a good day
Much love,
PK the Bookeemonster
