Heeeeyyyyy where did the weekend go?

 Monday

Day 13 (also a February found object piece but I will show those all together when I'm done. I have until next weekend and I'll be doing them all week):

Day 14 (work in progress day):

Started the 8" x 11" peyote elephant tapestry. This will be something to do work on during beading group because it's hard to haul all my tools and stuff working on the other pieces. And it is also a project to do on days when I don't feel particularly creative. It would be nice to produce a piece of jewelry every day but I have to be realistic even though it makes me feel guilty because I've set this goal and I don't want to slack off.

Anyway, here's the first three rows of the tapestry. 76 beads across so it does take a while to lay out the line and then bead on.

I also started making the links for what I'm calling the Mardi Gras rosary. Also a found object piece to be finished this week.

Day 15 (also a found object piece):

The green beads here were from a box subscription I just started in January. I had no idea how to use them when I got them. This was a pleasant surprise. I'm not a huge yellow fan so my found objects for this month was a challenge in itself. These aren't my colors but they are SOMEBODY'S colors and I actually like how it turned out.

The weekend was fine.  I went to beading group on Saturday. Barb was there eventually so everyone showed up. Like 12 people. It was loud. I kinda wanted to leave because there was too many people in a smaller space and so loud.

And it would have looks bad if I hadn't have gone.

Tonight we have Street Outlaws to watch. I'll make casserole. I'll work on a bracelet I think for Day 16.

 Have a good day

Ready for a groovy weekend

 Friday. TGIF

 The 100 Day Project Update

Day 12. I didn't create a new piece of jewelry last night. Just ran out of time so I did a few lines of peyote on the winter tartan bracelet. (sample photo)

I didn't think I'd have much time tonight with a Thunderhorse live stream this evening so I brought something to work on at lunch. I started the elephant tapestry.

Woo boy! Eight inches wide is WIDE! And I think I already messed up because it's supposed to be even count but I had an extra bead like it was odd count at the end of row three. I think I can fix it and get back on track pretty easily.

This weekend I'll be working on my Found Objects things because my supplemental beads are in today's mail. Woot!  I didn't want to go anywhere tomorrow but I should go to beading group because Barb has said she will be there.

Otherwise the usual goings on.

Have a good weekend

Yes, I HAVE a better attitude, see?

 Thursday.

 The 100 Days Project:

 Day 11:

I have no clue what project I'm making tonight. I could maybe start the peyote tapestry.

Tonight we have BattleBots to watch. I'm picking up a Papa Murphy's pizza to bake. I'll have to work on the beading while watching. Multitasking.

 Have a good day

Peanutbutter life

Wednesday. Negative 26 this morning. We're up to -2 now.

The 100 Day Project 2022

 Day 10:

And I'm finally hitting double digits in the count toward 100!

90 to go.  I'm not sure yet what I'll be working on tonight for Day 11. I have a couple in mind but I need to locate some beads.

Steve doesn't have the gun range tonight but he'll probably have some soup for dinner so I don't have to figure out a meal, per se. I have to figure out what I'M having though.

Hopefully working on Day 11 won't take all evening. Reading and sleep would be nice.

Have a good day

Tuesday

Tuesday.

On the plus side, I made this last night:

 Day 9:

I'm quite pleased with it. Today, Day 10, I'll be putting together a bracelet based on The Chosen logo.

The show isn't offering jewelry, only apparel type of things. I wanted to give this a try anyway.

Tonight we have The Curse of Oak Island to watch. I also have live stream of Thunderhorse Descendant (found objects lady) this evening. Bingo night. And I have an official bingo dauber to play with.

Cold day and cold night -- having grilled cheese and soup for dinner.

Have a good day

Monday AND a LOT of snow

 Monday. Snow. Zero temp.

This weekend I did some beading.

 Day 6:

Day 7:

I didn't complete a project yesterday, Day 8. I worked on my winter plaid peyote bracelet a little bit.

As you can see, it's still a work in progress.

Coda has been having some incontinence issues and a wound on his leg again so I wasn't in a very focused state of mind. Doing this bracelet kept me in my goal of doing The 100 Day Project daily. I do feel a little guilty at not completing a piece of jewelry but I've got to get over that. This is a marathon, not a spring.

But tonight, even if I'm tired, I feel I need to complete a piece. It will have to be quick but I have to do it.

I finished the Robb book. I have a major quibble with it. Of all the evidence they were following, they never followed up on the back tattoo. Oh, they went all out on the fingernails for heaven's sake. But the tattoo? No. The ink, the expertise to apparently do it professionally good ....???

Currently reading THE DEEPEST OF SECRETS by Kelley Armstrong. 7th of 7 in series featuring Casey Duncan, a homicide detective with a secret, living off the grid in the wilds of northern Canada

It’s not always easy to live in the hidden town of Rockton, something Detective Casey Duncan knows firsthand. Tucked away in the Yukon wilderness, the community survives—and thrives—because the residents' many secrets stay just that—secret. But what happens when these secrets start to come out? Overnight, no one is safe. It’s not a question of if your secret will come out—but when. Casey and her boyfriend, Sheriff Eric Dalton, need to find the culprit while protecting those who have been thrust into the spotlight. For a place built on privacy and new beginnings, Rockton isn’t handling these revelations very well. People are turning on one another, and when one of the loudest complainers turns up barely alive, it's clear that their trickster is actually a murderer. The threat of exposure is reaching its breaking point, and no one knows what’s going to happen next.
