It IS only Tuesday

Tonight we have The Curse of Oak Island, "Lost and Founding":

In the season finale, the team is handed a shocking new theory that may connect the Oak Island treasure to the birth of a nation. But it's also the moment of truth for the fellowship as the guys are faced with a difficult choice: quit or continue.
Two hours long.

And New Amsterdam, "Preventable":

Max is forced to reckon with his diagnosis in a new way as things become more difficult for him. Meanwhile, Reynolds  is forced to address what could have gone wrong in a recent surgery.

Last evening, I spent some time beading. It was almost zen-like. I got a good rhythm going for a bit.

But not tonight. The schedule is full.

Have a good day.

Mondays .... bbbPPPPbbbbppppft

What an ugly work day.

Sigh.

The weekend was mostly good. My beading class went really well. The ladies were very nice and I got started ok on the project.

I made a couple mistakes but overall it doesn't look too bad. I've got another class this Saturday with a different beading technique.

Not much on TV tonight to stick around for. Steet Outlaws

or some Live Rescue.

Last night's Game of Thrones episode 3 was ...... anticlimatic. A huge undertaking of filming the biggest battle ever but some of the choices weren't great. Very darkly filmed.

Three more episodes left.

Gotta keep going.

Have a good day

It's Friday

It's been another tough week.

Tonight, well just do the usual Live PD and Chinese food.

Tomorrow I signed up for a class to make a beaded bracelet. This one, in fact.

Mine will be light blue and white. I'm brand spankin' new at it so I probably won't get very far but I'll be doing it.

No other plans for the weekend. No NCIS Los Angeles this weekend. We will be watching Game of Thrones, episode three. It will be an hour and a half long due to covering a huge battle.

The Night King finally breaches the Wall alongside a full-grown dragon under his command; the new alliances and betrayals will determine the fate of everyone in Westeros..
Expect many main characters to die.

Avengers Endgame starts this weekend. I don't know if we'll see it this or the next.

Otherwise, it'll just be the usual.

Have a good weekend

Hang in there ....

We're getting closer to the weekend. Huzzah.

Nothing on TV tonight. I'm not sure what I'll be doing. I did some beading last night with the much smaller beads. I discovered that I must have MASSIVE hands. It was difficult working with so small of beads and needle....

I will probably take a break from that though. Maybe I'll read.

Have a good day

And who picked a camel?

Last night I did some beading. It went rather well. I'm working my way down to a very small bead size that will be used in the class I'm taking on Saturday. I'll get familiar with it tonight. Very. Small. Beads.

Steve has the gun range tonight. I'm feeling better. There's nothing on TV for me except I could watch the New Amsterdam ep from last night.

And I'll do some reading.

That's about it. Have a good day

Sorry for Monday

I went home not feeling well yesterday. I've some kind of intestinal bug. Better but not best yet.

Indeed. But getting better.

Only thing really on TV tonight is New Amsterdam but it's on at 9, per usual, so I'll probably watch it tomorrow. "Happy Place":

When a NYPD officer is hit by a car in the line of duty, the hospital is turn upside down trying to save her. Meanwhile, Kapoor  and Iggy work with a patient struggling with a previous surgery.
I'm currently reading DEFIANT by Mike Shepherd. 3rd of 14 in Kris Longknife series (SFF).

As part of an agenda to oust her father from his political position, Kris Longknife is relieved of command. But when an alien enemy launches an invasion, she defies both government and military authority to lead a rag-tag fleet against the threat.

Published 2005; 404 pages.

Also reading LIKE THE WIND by J. Bengtsson. Stand alone romance.

When a letter from his supposedly deceased mother finds its way into his hands, life changes in an instant for international pop star Bodhi Beckett. Reeling from the deception of those closest to him, Bodhi spirals out of control and is sent to a secluded mansion in the coastal mountains of Southern California for some rest and relaxation. But the retreat proves to be anything but relaxing when a raging wildfire sets the landscape around him ablaze. While escaping the flames, Bodhi rescues Breeze, a quirky, pet-loving woman, and together the two fight their way to safety. In the aftermath of the fire, Bodhi and Breeze hit the road to uncover the truth about his family. What neither of them expected is to forge a powerful connection that will change their lives forever…but can it survive the real world, or will it disappear like the wind?

Published 2019; 335 pages. It reads like this was an early, prototype-ish of her Cake series. Lots of telling and not showing which I'm more sensitive to.

That's about it.

Have a good day

Me, 8:00 tonight.

TGIF. It was a tough and seemingly very long week.

It's Friday, which means Chinese food and Live PD.

Tomorrow evening ..... wait for it .... THE TEN COMMANDMENTS!

My Easter tradition. I say this every year. I love lusty busty Anne Baxter in this.

On Sunday, we'll have Game of Thrones, Episode 2.

No NCIS Los Angeles this week.

But to be honest, the episodes haven't been that great lately. A lot of my shows have been not that great lately.

No big plans for the weekend. The usual. Grocery shopping, napping, reading, hopefully some beading practice, some Interneting ....

Have a good weekend

Current mood

Work continues.

Nothing on TV tonight.

Yeah, not too worried about it. I didn't accomplish anything last night other than watch the New Amsterdam episode and finish the first season of Time Team.

I didn't bead. I did start to read an SFF book. I'm not completely sure that I'm sticking with it. Maybe I am.

MIRROR DANCE by Lois McMaster Bujold. 9th of 13 in Vorkosigan Saga.

Mark, Miles Vorkosigan's clone, masquerades as him and dupes his mercenary force, the Dendarii, into undertaking a mission to free clones held "prisoner" on Jackson's Whole, an anything-goes freebooters' planet where Mark was created and raised. Mark's quixotic attempt to "liberate" children being held in Jackson's Hole ends in disaster, compounded by Miles' "death" in the rescue operation. Miles is being revived in a cryo-chamber, but the chamber disappears. Mark's attempt to find his brother and redeem himself leads to his own terrifying incarceration
