Class participation

I've got my meditation class tonight. It's on the phone for three hours. Doing visualization. And for some reason I'm rather worn out already in the day.

But the information is very good so I'm sure I'll perk up.

Nothing on TV for me of course. And I'm still binge watching This Is Us. OMG, this show rips your heartstrings every episode.

I tear up at how freaking poignant it is. They're up to 16 episodes so far in this season. Get thee to Amazon Instant and watch this. It's. that. good.

Not much else going on today.

So off you go and have a good day

Embrace the wrinkles

Here we are again.

The weekend was pretty good. The forum with Danielle was interesting and the personal questions afterward were very cool.

So there's a new TV series on this year called This Is Us. I've avoided it because it's getting acclaim and I avoid hyped shows like the plague

But I made the fortunate "mistake" of watching the pilot episode. It is SO good.

I'm now on episode 6.

I'm watching via Amazon Instant and I highly recommend it.

Nothing on TV really for me tonight. I could watch a new true crime show on cold cases but I may just have dinner and then do some meditation.

Have a good day

Take 'em to a dog park ... and they end up reading

Friday!

I have a forum to go to on Saturday again. Done by Danielle, the title is "Raising Your Vibration: Avoiding Negativity Poisoning".

Nope, that is something I need.

Otherwise, the weekend will be the usual.

We have The Walking Dead on Sunday. "Hostiles and Calamities":

An Alexandrian must navigate the mysterious world within the Saviors' compound.
NCIS: Los Angeles is not on this week. Bah.

Yeah, I know.

Have a great weekend, folks

Laying low .... emotional minefield out there

There's a strong emotional vibe going on out there. And it's not a good one.

Oooookay. Just going to be in my happy little bubble. Staying out of the crazyiness.

Nothing on TV for me tonight. No obligations and I like it. I will do some more meditation practice. My homework from class is to do 15 minutes each day and it works best for me after I feed the boys and before having to deal seriously with dinner.

In fact, it's kinda addicting. Giving yourself some quiet time.

And especially quieting the brain.

Look for the humor today. Stay happy. Stay out of the negative emotional gunk.

Have a great day

Much love,

Inner peace ... any way you can get it

My class last night was super good. I'm going to look forward to the next eleven weeks.

Arrow is on tonight!

"The Sin-Eater":

China White, Cupid and Liza Warner break out of Iron Heights and head to Star City for revenge. Oliver tries to bring in the newly formed girl gang but the ACU intervenes mid-fight. To his surprise, they are there to arrest the Green Arrow for the murder of Det. Malone. Meanwhile, Lance feels responsible for the prison break after Warner tells him she heard about him working with Damien Darhk.

Steve has shooting tonight. I'm not sure yet what I'll have for dinner but I'd like to do something fun. Hmmm.

Have a good day

Left my picks at home. Looks like we're stuck here.

I'm nearly recovered from the bug I picked up, I think.

I didn't sleep as soundly or as much as I was hoping last night but there it is.

The two-hour season finale of Curse of Oak Island is on tonight but I can't watch it. After all this time investment. Thank you very much.

I have a three-hour online class starting tonight at 6 so I do have a previous engagement preventing my participation. Another self-development kind of thing.

It is going to 60+ degrees today. Un-freaking-believable in February. But we're cooling down again tomorrow. Winter isn't done with us yet.

Have a good Tuesday

And not feeling so great, too

Monday again. Steve and I both are fending off a flu bug. I slept most of yesterday. Better today but not quite there yet.

I finished the Robb book. Very good, per usual.

And I read and finished MURDER ON SISTERS' ROW by Victoria Thompson. 13th of 20 in series featuring Sarah Brandt, a midwife in turn-of-the-20th-century New York City:

With the help of a charitable lady of means, midwife Sarah Brandt rescues a young woman and her newborn from the brothel where the mother was forced to prostitute herself. But their success comes at a high price when their benefactor is found murdered. Though the brothel's madam is immediately considered a suspect, Sarah and Sergeant Frank Malloy investigate, uncovering some unpleasant truths about the victim and her charity-and the woman and child Sarah risked her own life to save.
Published in 2011, it has 304 pages.

I think I'm sticking now with THE GUESTS ON SOUTH BATTERY by Karen White. 5th of 5 in series featuring Melanie Middleton, inheriting an historic home with ghosts, in Charleston, South Carolina.

With her extended maternity leave at its end, Melanie Trenholm is less than thrilled to leave her new husband and beautiful twins to return to work, especially when she’s awoken by a phone call with no voice on the other end—and the uneasy feeling that the ghostly apparitions that have stayed silent for more than a year are about to invade her life once more.  But her return to the realty office goes better than she could have hoped, with a new client eager to sell the home she recently inherited on South Battery. Most would treasure living in one of the grandest old homes in the famous historic district of Charleston, but Jayne Smith would rather sell hers as soon as possible, guaranteeing Melanie a quick commission.  Despite her stroke of luck, Melanie can’t deny that spirits—both malevolent and benign—have started to show themselves to her again. One is shrouded from sight, but appears whenever Jayne is near. Another arrives when an old cistern is discovered in Melanie’s backyard on Tradd Street.  Melanie knows nothing good can come from unearthing the past. But some secrets refuse to stay buried....

Published in 2017, it has 352 pages.

Couple great moments in NCIS: Los Angeles last night. Deeks rescues Kensi, doesn't even let the bad guy complete his threat.

Look at that "don't mess with me face"!!

Next great moment, Deeks expressed his feelings:

Nothing on TV for me tonight, which is good because I'm going to go to bed early.

Even earlier than usual.

Have a great day
