Three days isn't enough sometimes ...

Not a bad weekend at all. Lots of naps. Finished a book. Coda did really well. Did some cleaning chores. Watched Game of Thrones and a little Band of Brothers.

And here we are back again.

But it's already Tuesday. It's difficult to remember that it's Tuesday. It feels like Monday. But it's Tuesday.

Nothing on TV tonight. I need to figure out what I'm reading next. The MacLean book was disappointing. I loved the first book so much but this second one just threw a wrench in everything I loved about it. I'm hoping the third book will be better.

So I'm hoping I'll do some journaling this evening.

Okay. So. Not much else happening..... Have a good day. Off you go now.

So close to the 3-day weekend

It's the eve of a 3-day weekend!

As you can see on the sidebar, I haven't chosen something to read yet.

I am reading a new age book about the Akashic Records but y'all probably wouldn't be that interested in stuff like that.

But I have hopes that something will leap out at me and say, "Read ME!"

Last night with Coda, I took off his bungy cord thing on his gimpy leg that goes around his toes and hooked to his hock to keep the foot going in the right place. It kept slipping off the hock and was going around his ankle so I took it off in order to put it on more securely  because it has helped but was lighter than the tennis shoe thing. I noticed he was actually doing BETTER putting his leg/foot in place without it. Can you believe it??

I'm really having hope now. It's been a long five or six weeks.

No plans for the weekend other than relaxing, napping, reading, surfing the Net, some cleaning ... you know, the usual. Only an extra day of it.

But I like it. "Me time" is required after an emotional-roller-coaster of a week.

Have a lovely, safe Memorial Day weekend, folks.

Breathe in ... 2 ... 3 ... 4 ... and out ... 2 ... 3 ....

Last night's Arrow finale was somewhat satisfactory. They killed the big bad guy. But the Team is breaking up and Olicity wasn't a ride-into-the-sunset finish. And now we wait until October.

And!! It's not the weekend yet. It's only Thursday! Damn you!

So tonight we'll probably watch the final finale of 60 Days In where the participants find out about each other  .... and apparently it ain't pretty.

We just have today and tomorrow and then it's a three-day weekend. Woot! You know what would be the best ever? If it rained all. three. days. But it won't.

What I should do is finish viewing some series's seasons I've started and stopped midway through like The Musketeers, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Supernatural, The Fall .....

But I'll probably waste a lot of time trying to decide what to do, per usual.

Anyhoo.

Have a lovely. I'll see ya tomorrow.

Much love,

Please let today be good, please let today be good....

I will NOT be answer the phone or texts or the door or even the call of nature from 7 until 8 tonight. The season finale of Arrow is on.

"Schism":

Oliver teams up with a surprising force in an attempt to stop Damien Darhk and his magic once and for all.

It had better hold up to expectation. They actor who plays the Arrow has tweeted this:

So.

I still haven't picked what to read next. So many options.

And I guess things are better than the last couple days.

But maybe the worst is passed....

Wait, what do you mean the weekend is over?

I read a novella, A PRESSING ENGAGEMENT by Anna Lee Huber. In between books 4 and 5 in series featuring Lady Darby, a widow taking refuge at her sister’s estate, in 1830s Scotland.

Scotland, 1831. With her wedding to fellow investigator Sebastian Gage only a day away, Kiera is counting down the hours. But just when matrimonial jitters threaten to consume her, Kiera receives a welcome distraction in the form of a mysterious gold necklace. The Celtic torc, thought missing for decades, was directly involved in a recent investigation. Now, Kiera feels compelled to uncover the truth behind its sudden reappearance. But with an overwhelming flock of wedding guests, a muddled cat, an unpaid favor, and a ferocious storm throwing things into disarray, it’s anyone’s guess whether Kiera and Gage will actually make it to the altar...
Published in 2016, it has 83 pages.

I'm not sure what I'm reading next.

I started watching a BBC series, The Musketeers. Yes, based on the Three Musketeers. Two seasons available on Amazon. A third is on going.

Coda had a mostly good weekend. We had an accident yesterday morning while heading out to go for a ride that required a whole lot of cleaning up.

But by yesterday afternoon Coda had improved enough to go outside more than once and to kinda let me know the urge was there.

That was a big hurdle. I'm trying tonight for the first time to not boarding Coda but bring him home every evening after PT. We'll see how that goes.

So not much on TV for me tonight so I'll either read or keep watching Musketeers.

Much love,

The weekend is so close I can taste it

TGIF!

Coda is coming home again for the weekend. He still has issues with his back left leg but otherwise is being more active so we'll be having a normal-ish weekend as much as possible, i.e. not sitting on the couch keeping him quiet.

On Sunday, we have Game of Thrones, "The Door":

Sansa confronts Littlefinger about what he knew of Ramsay's intentions; Arya gets an opportunity to prove herself; Bran is transported to a dangerous place; Tyrion envisions an unusual alliance; Brienne undertakes an important new mission.

I have about 25% left of the Tessa Arlen book so I should finish that this weekend.

So much so much so much to read next. A lot to view on computer.

I know. I know.  Every weekend. Every time.

Oh and clean the house a bit.

A bit, I said. Maybe.

All right off you go. Have a good weekend.

Much love,
