It wasn't me!

My house. Disaster area.

Nothing on TV. I'm tired. Steve is not feeling well. We'll all go to bed early hopefully.

Have a good one

Being philosophical

So you saw the state of my kitchen yesterday. The only running water I have now is in the downstairs bathroom. A very small sink.

I bought paper plates, bowls, etc. today because I just can't do dishes in it. Cannot wait for this to be over.

Tonight we have Curse of Oak Island, "Seeing Red":

With little time before the team must suspend operations for the harsh winter ahead, the fellowship battles the shifting tides of Smith's Cove, and finds evidence that may support one of Dan Blankenship's early theories

And This Is Us is back, "Vegas, Baby":

Kate and Toby go to Las Vegas for their bachelor/bachelorette parties. Meanwhile, Jack and Rebecca celebrate their anniversary.

  Have a good one

la sigh

Well.

Giving a heads up that the postings may pause for few days. My dad had a stroke on Friday and he is probably going to pass this week. He's elderly and hasn't been in good health so it is not entirely a bad thing.

My belief system is that this is a just a transition from a physical form to an pure love energy form. So I'm truly ok.

They took out my kitchen today.  Actual photo of my former kitchen, not stock photo. (and apparently underneath the hideous blue wallpaper was even hedious-er wallpaper).

They haven't progressed much in the bathroom so the only running water I have now is the small sink in the downstairs bathroom. Bliss.

Tonight on TV we are finally getting back to our regular programming. I have Scorpion at 9. Don't know if I'll stay up for it.

The geniuses of Team Scorpion turn into knuckleheads and Paige must simplify the science for them, when their mental faculties are impaired during a job to prevent the creation of a black hole. Also, Florence and Sylvester grow closer when she helps him with a special project.

I also finished the Huber book yesterday. I think I'm going with reading FINDING CAMLANN by Sean Pidgeon. Stand alone.

Archaeologist Donald Gladstone is sure that there never was a "real" King Arthur—that is, until a surprising find at Stonehenge seems to offer hard evidence of Arthur's existence. Teaming up with Julia Llewellyn, a gifted linguist working at the Oxford English Dictionary, Donald sets off on a literary and mythological quest that will change both of their lives.

Published 2013; 352 pages.

Have a blessed day

Aaanny time now.

This has seemed like the longest week ever.

And of course none of my shows are on TV. Still. The Olympics. Still.

But I'm fine. Really.

So, I'll figure something out for dinner. Stare at the TV for an hour and then read in bed for a bit.

Still reading the Huber book. A little over 50% done.

See ya later

No, let me oooouuuuuut.

It's only Wednesday and I'm ready for the weekend already.

Nothing on TV tonight  due to the continuing Olympics.

So I'll either be on the Internet or read for a bit.

Still reading the Huber book. Almost 50% through it. Slow going, I know.

Ok, go have a good day

Bring it, Tuesday, I dare you

Tonight we have Curse of Oak Island to watch on TV. "Steel Trapped":

It's all hands on deck in the Money Pit as the team hits something in the DMT shaft that may prove to be the last thing standing between it and the answers below. Meanwhile, Gary Drayton strikes again when he zeroes in on a find that could be a key piece of a missing treasure chest.

Otherwise, things are plugging along at the bathroom remodel. The flooring is gone now (it's still in this photo).

Today I think they were framing in the hole there.

My biggest fear happened this afternoon. Ryker got out the front door at work. It took a couple minutes to get him back. We're on a very busy street so I was scared he'd run out into it.

He is so grounded now.

Sleeping and bed. Maybe I'll get some sleep tonight.

Have a good day

Snow and more snow this weekend

Well, I got the kitchen cupboards, counters, and drawers mostly cleaned out. What an ordeal.

Nothing really on TV tonight. We'll watch Street Outlaws. Otherwise, I guess I'll do some last of the cleaning up, read and go to bed for today was Monday.

Yep yep yep.

I'm progressing in the Huber book. Don't know yet what my second read is.

Have a great day

Waaaaaaannnnnnt

No Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. tonight because of the Olympics.

However, we do have the new Strike Back series on Cinemax in the meantime.

Episode 3:

The search for Jane Lowry in Budapest reveals she has ties to Magyar Ultra, a white-nationalist gang led by Rosa Varga and her loose-cannon brother, Josef, and has enlisted the faction to kidnap a Russian chemical-weapons expert. Meanwhile, Mac poses as an MMA

I was signed up for a two-day class this weekend but I will have to forego it. I've gotten half the cupboards and drawers cleaned out in the kitchen. Have to do the other half this weekend.

I finished the Bengtsson book. Back to the Huber and I may add a second. We'll see how it goes timing wise.

And nap when I can.

Have a good weekend

Much love,
