I AM smiling

Monday. Back to work.

We went to see Avengers: Endgame yesterday afternoon.

Sad. Happy. Funny. Traumatizing. Long. I cried several times. An amazing finale to 22 movies.

My bead workshop on Saturday was fun at the bead store. It was a first experience for me of creating a pattern using multiple types of beads. It was difficult keeping the tension of it among the beads but also being able to get a needle between each bead. And apparently I need to start projects inside a bead store because my afternoon was mostly figuring out after each completed form that the color wasn't working on this part, going looking amongst all the beads, ok solving that and then deciding the color wasn't working on another part. Because when you're picking beads at the beginning of the project, they look good in their packets next to each other but when they're strung in their form ... not so much sometimes.

Anyhoo, I got it finally figured out so I'll be starting over again but it made me happy doing it. It was a creative process I really enjoyed.

Currently also reading THE THOUSAND DOLLAR TAN LINE by Rob Thomas and Jennifer Graham.

Ten years after graduating from high school in Neptune, California, Veronica Mars is back in the land of sun, sand, crime, and corruption. She’s traded in her law degree for her old private investigating license, struggling to keep Mars Investigations afloat on the scant cash earned by catching cheating spouses until she can score her first big case. Now it’s spring break, and college students descend on Neptune, transforming the beaches and boardwalks into a frenzied, week-long rave. When a girl disappears from a party, Veronica is called in to investigate. But this is no simple missing person’s case; the house the girl vanished from belongs to a man with serious criminal ties, and soon Veronica is plunged into a dangerous underworld of drugs and organized crime. And when a major break in the investigation has a shocking connection to Veronica’s past, the case hits closer to home than she ever imagined.
Published 2014; 338 pages. I think this is a re-read for me though I don't remember many details of it. I binged the Veronica Mars series and movie this weekend. A season 4 is going to be starting in July on Hulu. TWELVE years after season 3. This was a fabulous series, at least the first two seasons of three. This book was written and occurs after the Go-Fund-Me movie in 2014.

The evening last night included flooding again of the utility room while doing laundry. Twice actually. But the second time I may have seen the culprit: the drain on the floor so something is blocked or broken ...?

Tonight we have Street Outlaws to watch probably. I'll catch Arrow at another time.

I know I know.

And there's a new royal baby today. Not really as interested but it's a boy and I'm predicting the name Phillip or Spencer.

Have a good day

Much love,
