My weekend plans

We are having a major winter storm this weekend. Lots of snow expected and the high temp on Sunday is supposed to be negative 7. Other than errands and a Danielle forum tomorrow, I won't be going anywhere Sunday and Monday. The forum is:

2018 - The Upcoming Year in Review: With so many changes upon our earth and our culture, 2018 is set to be one of the most dynamic 365 days to yet hit our physical 21st century. Many social and weather events to come are deeply tied to the upswing in evolutionary consciousness, and how we choose to navigate these upcoming events then sets the stage for a continued series of events stretching through to 2020.

And, shoot, there's no Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on tonight.

So this weekend will be spend reading, napping, computering and chores.

I think I'll also start this weekend, JACOB'S ROOM IS FULL OF BOOKS by Susan Hill. Nonfiction. Stand alone.

When we spend so much of our time immersed in books, who's to say where reading ends and living begins? Considering everything from Edith Wharton's novels through to Alan Bennett's diaries, Virginia Woolf and the writings of twelfth century monk Aelred of Rievaulx, Susan Hill charts a year of her life through the books she has read, reread or returned to the shelf. From beneath a shady tree in a hot French summer, or the warmth of a kitchen during an English winter, Hill reflects on what her reading throws up, from writing and writers to politics and religion, as well as the joy of dandies or the pleasure of watching a line of geese cross a meadow.
Published 2017, 272 pages. She wrote, and I have read, a previous book like this, HOWARD'S END IS ON THE LANDING, which I enjoyed very much. This particular one I think isn't available in the US yet. This is a hardcover UK book.

Have a great day!

Much love,
PK the Bookeemonster
