It came again

No shows on TV for me tonight.

Tomorrow a new Victoria Thompson book comes out.

However, I'm a bit behind in that series. And others.

I think I've set the NYXIA book aside for now. Another library loan came up, CROWN OF MIDNIGHT. 2nd of 6 in Throne of Glass fantasy series.

She is the greatest assassin her world has ever known. But does she have the heart of a killer?
After a year of hard labor in the Salt Mines of Endovier, eighteen-year-old assassin Celaena Sardothien has won the king's contest to become the new royal assassin. But Calaena is far from loyal to the crown. Keeping up the charade - while pretending to do the king's bidding - will test her skills in an entirely new way. And it certainly isn't the only point of confusion for the young girl. Because though she's made her choice between Dorian and Chaol, the ways of the heart are never simple...

Is it Friday?

Friday!

Tonight on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. "Option Two":

The team finds themselves trapped and under siege at the Lighthouse...
On Sunday, NCIS: Los Angeles, "ReEntry":

Callen, Sam and Nell travel to the Angeles Forest to search for pieces of a failed rocket launch, including a top-secret government device. Also, Hetty tries to help Keane acclimate to life in the states..
And Timeless, "Mrs. Sherlock Holmes":

In the bustle of 1919 New York City, suffragette Alice Paul is framed for murder and the Time Team partners up with legendary female crime solver Grace Humiston – AKA “Mrs. Sherlock Holmes.” Together they attempt to prove Alice’s innocence in time for her to give a powerful speech that turns the tide in the passage of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote. Back in the present, Connor Mason salvages key intel from the Rittenhouse raid.
Got a library hold so it jumps the reading queue. NYXIA by Scott Reintgen. 1st of a SFF trilogy.

What would you be willing to risk for a lifetime of fortune?Emmett Atwater isn’t just leaving Detroit; he’s leaving Earth. Now each recruit must earn the right to travel down to the planet of Eden—a planet that Babel has kept hidden—where they will mine a substance called Nyxia that has quietly become the most valuable material in the universe. But Babel’s ship is full of secrets. And Emmett will face the ultimate choice: win the fortune at any cost, or find a way to fight that won’t forever compromise what it means to be human.

I've got a Danielle Egnew forum tomorrow afternoon. And I'll probably go to music practice on Sunday afternoon. Otherwise, hanging with the boys.

Have a great weekend

Yes I know it's only Thursday. It's not Friday yet.

Our receptionist went home sick this morning so I'm on the phones.

Tonight on Arrow "Shifting Allegiences":

Oliver turns to an old friend to help battle Diaz. Meanwhile, Rene is out of the hospital but has a hard time re-adjusting to life as Wild Dog. Also, Lance discovers something shocking about Black Siren.

I finished the Patricia Wynn book. It feels like that may be the last one in the series.

Sorry, gotta get back to duties. Another short post.

Have a great day

What am I doing? What's happening?

Nothing on TV for me tonight.  Steve has the gun range this evening. Just me and boys hanging out.

I'm not feeling the inspiration today, folks. Nothing wrong at all just coming up empty.

Yeah so the usual. Dinner of something, Interwebbing, reading, bed.

Hope this goes better tomorrow. Sorry. Have a good one.

Get it off getitoff GET IT OFF!

Nothing on TV tonight for me. I wound up last night watch most of a movie from a couple years ago called Split. James McAvoy plays a person with multiple personalities. VERY WELL.

And doing the New York accents when his own is really Scottish.

So I'm hoping tonight I can do some reading. Steve has a new computer game so he will be occupied.

I'm a little over halfway through the Wynn book. And I'm falling behind in my reading goal for the year.

Have a good day

Yep.

I had a good weekend. I should have accomplished more, as usual. I guess I decided naps and hanging with the dogs were more important.

I had music night on Saturday with my friends. It was very fun. I wish I could have stayed longer but I left at about 10:30. I learned a new song that I'm really loving right now.

We did a really lovely rendition of Hallelujah and we all split into parts. Perfect. And we did Soolaimon by Neil Diamond where I have a high part solo kind of thing. I didn't embarrass myself.

Nothing on TV for me tonight. So I hope to get some reading in.

I watched my shows last night. When Calls the Heart -- Jack is really dead. I was hoping for a miraculous "he's not dead" moment. Nope.

NCIS- Los Angeles. Not much Densi. Again.

Timeless - Wyatt and Lucy still not together.

So a frustrating time all together.

In other news, there's a new Prince in the UK.

After several days in the 60s and 70s .... we had snow today. You know what that means:

THE SEASONAL SNOWFALL RECORD OF 103.5 INCHES WAS BROKEN THIS
MORNING AT 10 AM

Yeah, that wasn't a record I was really wanting to go for.

Have a great day

Is that Friday? It's FRIDAY!

TV on Sunday:

NCIS: Los Angeles, "Outside the Lines"

After a cryptocurrency farm is robbed of over $10 million in Bitcoin codes, Sam and Hidoko go undercover, with Sam resuming a likely compromised former alias.

Timeless, "The King of the Delta Blues":

When Rufus and Jiya add a fourth seat to the Lifeboat, Connor Mason joins the team as they travel back to the dusty backroads and smoky juke joints of the Depression-era South to rescue the life and legacy of Robert Johnson — King of the Delta Blues, Godfather of Rock n’ Roll and a man who, legend has it, bought his musical genius from the Devil for the price of his soul.
Oh and the season finale of When Calls the Heart, "Close to My Heart".

No episode description.  Probably because either Jack is really dead or they've pulled a fast one and Jack comes back as a huge "surprise" and is not dead.

And amazingly, the shows aren't on all at the same time; they're on at 7:00, 8:00, and 9:00.

Also reading WHISPER OF DEATH by Patricia Wynn. 6th of 6 in series featuring Gideon St. Mars, a viscount who becomes the highwayman Blue Satan, and his friend Mrs. Kean, in early 18th century England.

Hester Kean overhears a mysterious threat while touring the gallery in the dome of London’s St. Paul's Cathedral. Later, learning that whispers can travel across the vast space—and believing the threat to be real—she takes note of the gentlemen in the gallery that day. The most likely suspect is Lord Wragby, the son of a powerful marquess, who spouts Jacobite sympathies and mercilessly pursues Hester's cousin Mary, in spite of being married. When Lord Wragby is murdered, Mary's lover James Henry is implicated, and Hester must work with the highwayman Blue Satan to clear him. The problem is that St. Mars (alias Blue Satan) has gone abroad after Hester failed to appear for their elopement. When he returns to claim her, this time neither will let anything separate them again.

Published 2017; 351 pages.

Tomorrow night I have music night with some friends. Looking very forward to it. Singing, guitars, drums, etc with food and good company.

Have a good weekend

Yeah? Well where's my weekend?

Tonight on Arrow, "The Dragon":

Looking to expand his empire, Diaz and Laurel meet with the Quadrant, a coalition of Mafia families who run national organized crime. Meanwhile, after Oliver's recent decision, Felicity and Curtis double their efforts on building Helix Dynamics

I may not watch it tonight actually. It looks very big bad guy- and Laurel#2 - oriented and not enough Oliver and Felicity. I get the episodes the next day so I can skim through it. (Die, Laurel#2, die).

I'm getting caught upon the second season of Timeless.

And ignoring When Calls the Heart.

Have a great day
