Four day weekend!

Oh happy. The only one of the year.

Tonight I have the finale of The Little Drummer Girl miniseries, "Episodes 5 & 6":

Charlie has been taken by the Palestinians and trains in Lebanon. Now deep undercover, no one can save her if she is exposed as a spy. As she prepares for her grand finale, it is unclear who's side she is fighting for.
The AMC programmers are very clever doing this three nights in a row to take advantage of new viewing habits of binge watching. Plays havoc on sleep when you have a cold. Steve will be missing this part because of having to be at the gun range but he can catch up later.  Kinda sucky for him but them's the breaks.

Other shows on the horizon:

On Sunday's NCIS Los Angeles, “Diamond in the Rough”:

The NCIS team investigates the home invasion of Navy Captain Dean Hadlow, who was entertaining his friend, General Omer Abidi of Pakistan, when robbers successfully stole money, jewelry and highly classified information. Also, Deeks and Kensi interview candidates to manage the bar

Also, we have the fall finale of The Walking Dead,  “Evolution”

A small rescue mission braves a dangerous herd in their hunt for a missing comrade, only to discover a surprising threat that could doom them all.

I'll probably finish reading TOMBLAND by CJ Sansom this weekend. I've got about a quarter left -- it's a BIG book. And so many other books that I need to get to. Yikes.

And I must must must must get back to writing my book.

It's just going to be Steve and I for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow so it's just going to be the basics and lots of it -- turkey, stuffing, potatoes and gravy. Football (Come on, Cowboys). Naps.

I may do my annual Thanksgiving post tomorrow. Not sure about Friday.

Have a good day and weekend!

Much love,
PK the Bookeemonster
