Take me to the weekend, James!

TGIF

So here's how the new bracelet turned out. For now.

I have a bead class thingy tomorrow. We're making this one.

My bead colors are metallic dark blue and silver with silvery slate-y blue squares.

On TV tonight we've got Live PD. I'm going to attempt to making another Christmas ornament but not with beads. Kinda like this:

Only in just red and white and not that fancy kind of color mixing. We'll see how it goes. It looked fun.

On Sunday on NCIS Los Angeles (the last before the holiday hiatus), "Answers":

While the team investigates the theft of a computer virus, Callen and Sam consider their future at the agency, Kensi and Deeks discuss having children, and Eric and Nell analyze the impact of Eric’s undercover assignment on their relationship. Also, the team tracks Mara, a crooked upscale banker
I'll also be watching the new season (3rd) of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel which dropped on Amazon today.

I first watched this series before it became "known." I was trying to inflict it on everyone I knew who watched Netflix/Amazon/Hulu. Now it's famous and has won many awards. It has a great ensemble cast, fast witty dialogue, a-freaking-mazing clothes, and just plain funny.

Set in 1950s Manhattan, it centers on Miriam "Midge" Maisel, a sunny, energetic, sharp, Jewish girl who had her life mapped out: go to college, find a husband, have kids, and throw the best Yom Kippur breakfasts in town. A woman of her time, Midge is a cheerleader wife to a man who dreams of a stand-up comedy career, but her perfect life is upended when her husband suddenly leaves her for another woman. Utterly unprepared, Midge is left with no choice but to reevaluate her life. When she accidentally stumbles onto the stage at a nightclub, she discovers her own comedic skills and decides to use this newfound talent to help her reinvent her life. The series follows the trajectory of Midge's journey as she pursues a career in the male-dominated, stand-up comedy profession, and transforms from uptown society matron to East Village club performer.
So, yeah, I'll be watching that a lot. I've been looking forward to this for a year.

I think that's about it.

Have a good weekend

Much love,
PK the Bookeemonster
