Monday mood


Back at work.


Nothing on TV tonight.



This weekend we watched the movie 1917. GORGEOUS cinematography.





Great storyline. Amazing movie.

I worked on my bead crochet bracelet. Napped a lot. I also binge watched a series out of Australia from last year starring Lucy Lawless.


It was very good and I'm sad there's only one season.

Currently reading DEFENDER by Mike Shepherd. 11th of 17 in Kris Longknife SFF series.




Kris Longknife is back in the good graces of the brass—and to demonstrate that, they've promoted her to Admiral.  Now her mission is to find the home base of the space pirates who are plaguing the fringes of the galaxy. Regarding COVID-19 bill in the Senate for relief for the US, the Dems voted down the bipartisan version and came up with their own 1400 page pork-filled monster: 



 And their version, of course, if full of crap that has nothing to do with the emergency at hand:




 




And support for Planned Parenthood, Green Deal, bailouts on student loans, limits on ICE and Border Patrol, collective bargaining, $15 minimum wage for companies accepting assistance, etc. And for good measure in case it skipped one's attention ALL Dems voted no, including ours:
