I'd rather be home

Ok, done with playing office. It's not so fun.

Nothing on TV tonight but I would like to get back to beading very soon. I've got the itch.

There's also a lot of books I'd like to read but I've read the previous book within the last couple weeks and I need to put some time/other books in between so I'm trying to figure out what mood I'm in now and avoid reading THOSE books. I may be doing this one:

THE THIEF by Meghan Whalen Turner. 1st of 6 in fantasy series.

The most powerful advisor to the King of Sounis is the magus. He's not a wizard, he’s a scholar, an aging solider, not a thief. When he needs something stolen, he pulls a young thief from the King's prison to do the job for him. Gen is a thief and proud of it. When his bragging lands him behind bars he has one chance to win his freedom, journey to a neighboring kingdom with the magus, find a legendary stone called Hamiathes’s Gift, and steal it. The magus has plans for his King and his country. Gen has plans of his own.

Published 1997. 236 pages. It has gotten rave reviews so I guess I should try it.

Have a good day

Much love,

PK the Bookeemonster
