Take me away

Monday.

The show we went to on Friday night was fun. I guess you can call it a tribute band of sorts - Black Jacket Symphony. They recreate classic rock albums. This one was Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. These aren't our photos but we did have good seats.

The only quibble I would comment on is that the female singer wasn't up for the solo but absolutely admittedly it is a VERY difficult part.

And then I took it easy the rest of the weekend. I had sprints Saturday afternoon. We ordered Five Guys hamburgers and fries for dinner which made me very happy because I'd been craving a good hamburger for a while. I made Stouffer's lasagna and garlic bread for dinner last night. I slept a whole lot yesterday which was much needed. So Level 58 now.

I started a possible scavenger hunt read for prompt "three-word title" is BETTER OFF WED by Laura Durham. 1st of 20 in series.

The murder of a particularly difficult mother-of-the-bride has cast a pall on wedding planner Annabelle Archer's latest triumph -- and suspicion falls heavily on her sometime-business partner and friend Richard Gerard. Annabelle knows that even her trusted wedding emergency kit won't be able to salvage their careers if she and Richard can't find the real culprit. It's no easy task since the slain matron was perhaps the most hated socialite in DC, but Annabelle navigates through the city's colorful wedding industry and powerful social scene on the deadly trail of a killer. Always the bridal consultant and never the bride, she's seen her fair share of bouquet tosses. But there's no telling what surprises a ruthless killer will throw her way if she gets too close.

Published 2005; 234 pages. It's fluffy; it's silly; but I'm muddling through. Kinda sorta skimming through it. I'm still kinda slumping so still jumping around in books.

No sprints tonight.

Have a good day

Much love,

PK the Bookeemonster
