Currently reading MILK RUN by Nathan Lowell. 1st of Smugglers Tales trilogy in the Tales from the Golden Age of the Solar Clipper universe.

No Battlebots on tonight. It may be time to renew the Disney Plus channel for a month and watch The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
I think it's only six episodes so we can watch it over two or three weekends and then cancel.
No bead class this weekend so I won't be going to the shop. It is time to step up the loom lessons.
Here's another reason why weaving is attracting me. This photo shows how different the fabric looks with only changing the weft (the yarn that goes back and forth side to side). The warp yarn (strung up and down) is exactly the same in all these swatches.
Isn't that cool? One interesting thing I don't think I've noted here but I have mentioned to a couple people recently: All three of my hobbies/leisure activities can be done without electricity. Reading, beading, and now weaving. I just use electricity for lights -- it could be done by candlelight if need be. Steve is totally screwed if the zombie apocalypse happened or EMP attack with his computer gaming eventually.
But he would probably just go shoot things. Also all three of my interests are solo activities. No team or partners required. I can do them anytime without having to wait for people to show up, etc. Plus it suits my temperament.
