Thursday
I've been zooming through the Robin Hobb book. As of lunchtime, I'm at 91%.
I'll finish it tonight. I've got some live reading sprints (concentrated reading time) tonight with a group I follow on YouTube so that will help.
Next up I think will be EXIT STRATEGY by Martha Wells. 4th of 7 in Murderbot Diaries series. Scifi.
Murderbot wasn’t programmed to care. So, its decision to help the only human who ever showed it respect must be a system glitch, right? Having traveled the width of the galaxy to unearth details of its own murderous transgressions, as well as those of the GrayCris Corporation, Murderbot is heading home to help Dr. Mensah—its former owner (protector? friend?)—submit evidence that could prevent GrayCris from destroying more colonists in its never-ending quest for profit. But who’s going to believe a SecUnit gone rogue? And what will become of it when it’s caught?
Published 2018; 176 pages. This will be a palette cleanser, it will go quickly being a novella -- and it's a series I really like -- and then I'll tackle another book in my 23 in 2023 list.
So, same thing as other nights -- take care of Ryker, feed Steve, read, and go to bed.
Have a good day
Much love,
PK the Bookeemonster
