We're both happy it's Friday

TGIF

I played with the beads again last night (surprise!) and I think I have another color option now. I have in my possession this mix called "Passion Fruit" in the 6/0 size.

I had gotten them just because I liked them; I didn't have a project in mind.

Last night I separated them out into yellow and red. Or Honey Mustard and Pomegranate. I also had some pomegranate in the smaller beads because I liked that tone of red.

I think I'll be using the matte mustard for the base of the bracelet and the smaller pomegranate ones for the x.

AAAANNNNND ... the tiger's eye beads I had already gotten for Plan A of this project (we're now on Plan C) had them in blue, red and yellow!

So I already have those too!

I'll still be doing the Cinderella version of this bracelet later because I think that's so pretty but for the class tomorrow, this may be the direction I'm going.  As an aside, here is a bowl we have at work to hold suckers for people to help themselves with that has some of the inspiration colors I'm thinking of. I may look for a dark blue that will work as an accent color. I've looked through my stash and I haven't found the right tone.

BUT I'm also going to stop by the bead shop at lunch to do a browse.

Well, the class is tomorrow so ....

Currently reading LIMITS OF POWER by Elizabeth Moon. 4th of 5 in fantasy series, Legends of Paksenarrion.

The unthinkable has occurred in the kingdom of Lyonya. The queen of the Elves—known as the Lady—is dead, murdered by former elves twisted by dark powers. Now the Lady’s half-elven grandson must heal the mistrust between elf and human before their enemies strike again. Yet as he struggles to make ready for an attack, an even greater threat looms across the Eight Kingdoms.Throughout the north, magic is reappearing after centuries of absence, emerging without warning in family after family—rich and poor alike. In some areas, the religious strictures against magery remain in place, and fanatical followers are stamping out magery by killing whoever displays the merest sign of it—even children. And as unrest spreads, one very determined traitor works to undo any effort at peace—no matter how many lives it costs. With the future hanging in the balance, it is only the dedication of a few resolute heroes who can turn the tides . . . if they can survive.

Published 2013; 505 pages.

Other than the class tomorrow, we're not planning on doing much of anything. Nap, read, bead, cook some stuff for the week, watch a couple episodes of The Expanse, some cleaning...

 Have a good weekend

Much love,
