I asked the shawl giftee point blank what kind of orange she liked best. The one I had started was a persimmon orange, sort of a pinky-orange. She said pumpkin.
Starting over. Which is okay, really. I want her to like it. I'm debating which yarn to go with. A straight pumpkin I can get at Joanne's or an ombre orange/sand very soft one via eBay.
I always go overboard. I always want to make an impression to people who probably won't really appreciate.
I need to just do it and get it done and work on the six other projects.
Sprints tonight. I need to crochet like a mad woman.
