Sometimes you need a Super Hero ... and a sidekick.

Woot! I was able to get an ARC of Andy Weir's new book that is coming out in November! Via Netgalley. He's the author of the fabulous THE MARTIAN.  ARTEMIS. Stand alone.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down. But pulling off the impossible is just the start of her problems, as she learns that she's stepped square into a conspiracy for control of Artemis itself—and that now, her only chance at survival lies in a gambit even riskier than the first.
Published 2017, 320 pages. And good timing, too. I just finished the Armstrong book and was looking for what was next.

Actually, the next few weeks are picking up again for new releases quite regularly.

Tonight I have Making the Team, episode 3 to watch. This is the reality show about the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders auditions each year. Yeah, it's a guilty pleasure.

And then tomorrow, Netflix is releasing Defenders, an original with a mashup of the heroes from Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.

It's going to be a great weekend.

Have a good one!

Much love,
