And now no holiday off until May ...

And it doesn't feel like Wednesday. It feels like Monday. Again.

On New Years' Eve, I did re-watch Casablanca. Looking at it from a writer's perspective, there are no throw away lines in the movie. None. Even in a transition scene by extras, they're imparting information to forward the plot or understanding of events.

We had some fireworks but it was so cold, it didn't last very long.

Steve has the gun range tonight. I've got nothing on TV so I'll probably read.

Because Steve visited a friend over the weekend who showed him some VR gaming (virtual reality) he was involved in and Steve thought it was so cool and because I knew Steve would then go out to buy his own stuff and because that was the second gift I had gotten him for Christmas but was now his birthday present in May ......

... I had to give Steve his birthday present early to stop him from buying anything. And he loved it.

And I got to try it too. It's freaking amazing. You put the visor on and suddenly you're in a bigger room with skylights and birds flying and pine trees outside. 360 degrees of a bigger room. And the games I played were carnival ones that had me ducking even though I knew it wasn't going to hit me!

It is just bloody amazing what they can do now. And I think I want one. I know there's gaming and of course porn (I know I know but you knew someone was going to go there and they did) but there's got to be for traveling, right? I'd do games too ...

That's about it. Have a good day

Much love,
