Book release day

Three books for me released today. A new Charles Todd, Kelley Armstrong, and this one:

GOLDEN IN DEATH by JD Robb. 50th of 50 in series featuring Eve Dallas, a homicide lieutenant in futuristic New York City.

Pediatrician Kent Abner received the package on a beautiful April morning. Inside was a cheap trinket, a golden egg that could be opened into two halves. When he pried it apart, highly toxic airborne fumes entered his body—and killed him. After Eve Dallas calls the hazmat team—and undergoes testing to reassure both her and her husband that she hasn’t been exposed—it’s time to look into Dr. Abner’s past and relationships. Not every victim Eve encounters is an angel, but it seems that Abner came pretty close—though he did ruffle some feathers over the years by taking stands for the weak and defenseless. While the lab tries to identify the deadly toxin, Eve hunts for the sender. But when someone else dies in the same grisly manner, it becomes clear that she’s dealing with either a madman—or someone who has a hidden and elusive connection to both victims.

Only Curse of Oak Island on tonight. "Fortified":

New findings suggest there was activity on Oak Island decades before the discovery of the Money Pit, and the team may have finally uncovered definitive proof the swamp was manmade centuries ago...
The other two shows aren't on because of the State of the Union address which I will watch so I'll actually be missing Curse of Oak Island. I'll be beading. I've decided to restring the bead crochet project. I wasn't liking the white beads in the design.

Steve has a board meeting tonight.

In unrelated but gobsmacking news, a TV show that was on in 2010 I believe on AMC called Rubicon which I LOVED hasn't been available for purchase in any form for ten years. I've checked randomly on its status ever since. AND IT'S AVAILABLE NOW!!!!

I believe it got cancelled after its first season because its topic was intelligence gathering on a very potentially real domestic terrorism plot. It was well done -- probably so well done they didn't want to have that info available to just anyone. Guess what I'm going to be binge-ing??

Have a good day

Much love,
