Had it up to here

Well .... don't have to worry about the service manager not calling in anymore. Quit. No notice. Left the key when the business was closed.

Indeed.

Yep.

At this point since the first of the year he'd missed 13 full days and 4 half days. Migraine, he said. Some of them perhaps but he never provided a doctor's note. And since October 1st, he'd missed a total of 28 days. So it's not a surprise exactly and we're better off without him and his excessive absences. It's just a freaking pain.

I've suggested to Steve that we save the money from a salary and hassle of trying to find yet another service manager and manage without one for a while.

The really painful part is doing inventory in April. Sigh.

Tonight on TV, we've got The Curse of Oak Island "Burnt Offering":

Fred Nolan's theory that a ship was buried in the swamp centuries ago may be true according to new, hard evidence.

And on This Is Is, "Clouds":

'This Is Us' Season 4 Episode 15 Preview: Will Randall finally open up about his biggest fears in 'Clouds'?

Kevin spends the day with Rebecca. Toby makes a grand gesture. The Big Three get their report cards...

And on New Amsterdam, "Double Blind":

Tasked with turning the opioid epidemic around, Max shuts down the ED and proposes a huge change. Meanwhile, Sharpe goes to great lengths to prove a point...

We'll see if I stay up to watch any of these.

Have a good day

Much love,
PK the Bookeemonster
