The weekend is over

Monday. Bring it.

I'm currently reading DESERTER by Mike Shepherd. 2nd of 14 in the Kris Longknife SFF series.

When Kris Longknife's best friend vanishes, she boards the next ship to Turantic, the last place he was seen alive. But there's more to the rescue than meets the eye. Turantic is not only the moss twisted hellhole in the galaxy, but it's also under quarantine because of a deadly plague. And after a sudden, suspicious loss of communication with the outside world, Kris realizes the length some enemies will go to for a life-threatening bait-and-trap. But she is willing to go even further--and deeper into Turantic's secrets--to survive...

Published 2004; 356 pages.

Tonight on TV we have Street Outlaws "Us and Them:

When Big Chief gets a call from California street racer, Boddie inviting the 405 to come out West for a race, there's no way Chief can refuse. The OKC racers all pack up and head out for an epic night of racing with more than $20,000 on the line

Mostly, just trying to fight a bad mood that keeps trying to jump to the front.

Have a great day

Much love,
PK the Bookeemonster
