Me this weekend....

Winter arrived yesterday.

It's not below zero or anything but there is snow and cold. I plan to not go anywhere this weekend. Other than my class. Unless that gets cancelled. Again.

I'm about to start reading THE CUCKOO'S CALLING by Robert Galbraith. 1st of 3 in series featuring Cormoran Strike, a private detective, and his secretary Robin Ellacott, in London.

After losing his leg to a land mine in Afghanistan, Cormoran Strike is barely scraping by as a private investigator. Strike is down to one client, and creditors are calling. He has also just broken up with his longtime girlfriend and is living in his office. Then John Bristow walks through his door with an amazing story: His sister, thelegendary supermodel Lula Landry, known to her friends as the Cuckoo, famously fell to her death a few months earlier. The police ruled it a suicide, but John refuses to believe that. The case plunges Strike into the world of multimillionaire beauties, rock-star boyfriends, and desperate designers, and it introduces him to every variety of pleasure, enticement, seduction, and delusion known to man.
Published 2013; 561 pages. Pretty well known now that the author is J.K. Rowling of Harry Potter infamy. It has been made into a BBC movie but it isn't in the US yet.

Last night's Arrow ... Olicity is SO back, baby!

And we're so happy. It's been a long journey. Six years, people.

Sunday has NCIS: Los Angeles, "Can I Get a Witness?":

The LAPD calls on Deeks after his former partner goes rogue and they believe only he can bring him in..
Here are the two sneak peeks. I share the first one even though I don't usually share a scene that doesn't have Deeks because this chick needs to be on regularly.

Outlander's episode is "First Wife":

Claire returns to Lallybroch with Jamie, where she does not receive quite the reception she was expecting

Both of which I'll probably be able to watch on Monday if class doesn't get cancelled.

Otherwise, the usual stuff for the weekend, napping, cleaning, laundry, etc.

Have a cozy weekend

Much love,
PK the Bookeemonster
