The 100 Day Project:
Day 41:
This was supposed to be a necklace but became a bracelet. I'll have to do tweaking on it. The beads are from JoAnnes.
Day 42:
I was so tired on Saturday I almost didn't do a project. Briefly, I just wanted to count the bead group at the coffee shop as my being creative. But I felt guilty knowing it wasn't being creative - it was following a pattern. So I did one of the quickies I had in my stash options. A Flintstones necklace. These beads are huge but light.
Day 43:
Also counts as a found object for March. Formerly known as a tassel. And it is already spoken for -- a friend wants to buy it.
Speaking of Found Objects Challenge for March, I turned my in.
And these are the found objects marked on the pieces:
And on the elephant tapestry -- for those keeping track -- that I worked on at the coffee shop on Saturday, I believe I'm about to start row 18 of 316.
Currently reading GENTLEMAN JOLE AND THE RED QUEEN by Lois McMaster Bujold. 16th (and last! Sad!) of 16 in the Miles Vorkosigan SFF series).
Three years after her famous husband’s death, Cordelia Vorkosigan, widowed Vicereine of Sergyar, stands ready to spin her life in a new direction. Oliver Jole, Admiral, Sergyar Fleet, finds himself caught up in her web of plans in ways he’d never imagined, bringing him to an unexpected crossroads in his career. Meanwhile, Miles Vorkosigan, one of Emperor Gregor’s key investigators, this time dispatches himself on a mission of inquiry, into a mystery he never anticipated – his own mother. Plans, wills, and expectations collide in this sparkling science-fiction social comedy, as the impact of galactic technology on the range of the possible changes all the old rules, and Miles learns that not only is the future not what he expects, neither is the past.
Published 2016; 290 pages.
Tonight, I'm going to try a new recipe. This is a riff on the Hobo packet I do cooking hamburger in a foil. I'm going to try cube steak, mushrooms, and Yukon gold potatoes. Keep your fingers crossed. We'll be watching Street Outlaws during dinner. I have no idea what I'm making for Day 44.
Have a good day
Much love,
PK the Bookeemonster
