More like "fireworks went on for too long" face

It's a new year. We start all over again.

I read 123 books in 2014:

• 16 were SFF
• 9 were nonfiction
• 14 were young adult dystopians
• 11 romances
• 16 general fiction
• the rest are mysteries

 We had fireworks at 8pm and midnight. The boys reacted predictably: Coda barked and wanted to take them on and Ryker was scared and getting protection with Mama. And, yes, the fireworks went on for what seemed like forever. Really?

Today we have been relaxing for tomorrow we go back to work. I did finish the David Weber book around 2am when I couldn't get back to sleep so the first book of the new year is recorded.
