Resistance is futile -- udderly adorable

I haven't seen Coda yet today but the vet called to say he's been fitted to his wheels and was taken outside yesterday. Today they're taking him off the tubes to see how he does. We're getting closer to getting him home.

I'll be starting THE ROSE and THE DAGGER by Renee Ahdieh. Sequel to  THE WRATH and THE DAWN, a fantasy retelling of Arabian Nights.

In a land on the brink of war, Shahrzad has been torn from the love of her husband Khalid, the Caliph of Khorasan. She once believed him a monster, but his secrets revealed a man tormented by guilt and a powerful curse—one that might keep them apart forever. Reunited with her family, who have taken refuge with enemies of Khalid, and Tariq, her childhood sweetheart, she should be happy. But Tariq now commands forces set on destroying Khalid's empire. Shahrzad is almost a prisoner caught between loyalties to people she loves. But she refuses to be a pawn and devises a plan. While her father, Jahandar, continues to play with magical forces he doesn't yet understand, Shahrzad tries to uncover powers that may lie dormant within her. With the help of a tattered old carpet and a tempestuous but sage young man, Shahrzad will attempt to break the curse and reunite with her one true love.
Published in 2016, it has 420 pages. I really enjoyed the first book and have been anticipating this one.

Tonight I have Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D "The Singularity":

The S.H.I.E.L.D. team is left reeling and decimated as Hive continues to sway Inhumans to his side. But there is a sliver of hope as Agents Fitz and Simmons follow a lead that may be able to stop the maniacal Inhuman once and for all.

Last week's episode was a shocker with the Daisy issue. AAAaarrrrgh! And we're closing in on the end of season on these shows.

And then what will I do?

....

 .....

Ha ha ha that's a joke.

I have tons of shows to watch still on Netflix and Amazon Prime and my guilty pleasure soap DVDs.

Much love,
PK the Bookeemonster
