Oh cu--ew... lizard tongue

Oh How Cu- ...Eww

Book sale. Was bad if not worse than I thought. It.was.a.madhouse. I got there at 9:30 and there were already 20 cars there and a line formed at the door -- the library doesn't open until 10. Then there were the line nazis.

The sales are always on the third floor where there is no air circulation. Really, a librarian told me today there is no heating or cooling. It was packed, you couldn't move or breathe clear air and it was hot. I was dripping sweat and my hair sopping. There was no organization beyond the first letter of the author's last name. Beyond that it was a free-for-all.

And the people. I was in the "D" section. A lady was looking for Nancy Drew books. I told her that was the character's name; she wouldn't find it there. Actually she wouldn't find it anywhere because the sale was for adult fiction (hardbacks). I wish I could remember others that I heard; there were some woppers.

I left at 12:30. Wiped out.
