But I don't wanna go back to work!

RAAAWWWR!

I'll be starting MORTAL ARTS by Anna Lee Huber. This is 2nd of 2 in series featuring  Lady Kiera Darby, a widow taking refuge at her sister’s estate, in 1830s Scotland. Here is a description:
Scotland, 1830. Lady Kiera Darby is no stranger to intrigue—in fact, it seems to follow wherever she goes. After her foray into murder investigation, Kiera must journey to Edinburgh with her family so that her pregnant sister can be close to proper medical care. But the city is full of many things Kiera isn’t quite ready to face: the society ladies keen on judging her, her fellow investigator—and romantic entanglement—Sebastian Gage, and ultimately, another deadly mystery.  Kiera’s old friend Michael Dalmay is about to be married, but the arrival of his older brother—and Kiera’s childhood art tutor—William, has thrown everything into chaos. For ten years Will has been missing, committed to an insane asylum by his own father. Kiera is sympathetic to her mentor’s plight, especially when rumors swirl about a local girl gone missing. Now Kiera must once again employ her knowledge of the macabre and join forces with Gage in order to prove the innocence of a beloved family friend—and save the marriage of another…
It was published today and has 384 pages. Crossing my fingers that it will be there when I get home tonight and not have to wait until 7pm again.

Nuttin' on TV for me as far as I remember so I will read tonight. Steve has a board meeting so it should be just me and the boys hanging out.

I've gotten a couple mentions today at work that they can tell that I've lost weight. I have found a couple pairs of pants that are another size down that I can wear and it is getting to be time to retire some of the bigger ones.  It's starting to show and I'm not giving up my meal plan. Woot. I just have to adjust my plan because I may have discovered an intolerance to eggs. I'm giving it a break for a couple weeks and will see after that. Now if my psoriasis would go away ....

After five days off and being able to nap whenever I like, it has been difficult today to get back to the routine. I may have to go to bed early ... like THAT'S new.

Have a lovely ....

Much love,
PK the Bookeemonster
