Happy Mothers' Day

Have a Great Mothers' Day!

Last night we went to see the new Iron Man 3 movie. A movie with Robert Downey Jr is better than a movie without Robert Downey Jr but this wasn't a great film. AND Gwyneth Paltrow doesn't die. Bah.

We spent most of the day at both sets of parents, visiting families. We'll be having taco salad for dinner and watch Axe Men and The Game of Thrones. Probably not a lot of time for reading, darnit.

Hot today and will be again tomorrow. Like 90 degrees hot. Yucka mucka. I'll be walking the dogs in the morning again tomorrow to avoid the afternoon heat after work.

30 Day Reading Challenge
Day 16 - Favorite Female Character
I would have to commit to Katniss Everdeen from THE HUNGER GAMES. She is far from perfect but she is a strong female character who makes a difference. In fact, there's a humorous scene where they do a sort of poll among the rebellion of what they like best about Katniss and some of it isn't pretty. :) But she's real and true to her character at all times.

Ok, off you go. Have a lovely evening.

Much love,
