Tired face? Cranky face? I dunno.

 Wednesday

I'm not going to go to the coffee shop this Saturday. It's been a rather rough week. Receptionist gone for second week as stated previously. Our service manager got hurt yesterday in the warehouse when she ran toward falling stuff. Went to the ER, a concussion and some bruising only, luckily. She's back today. And one of our techs we've suspected has been drinking on the job ... and yes, he has.

Best I can do is not go anywhere for two days this weekend. But it's only Wednesday.

I finished the Sabo book last night. Starting the Hobb fantasy and also I've started BLACK VELVET by Steven Henry. 1st of 19 in series featuring Erin O'Reilly, NYPD K-9 cop.

It’s tough working nights with the NYPD. The crime rate is high, the hours are terrible, and forget about a personal life. So when Officer O’Reilly and her K-9 Rolf switch over to the day shift, things are looking up. She’s even able to find time for a new boyfriend. But when the theft of a priceless painting from the Queens Museum leaves a fellow police officer dead, Erin and her four-legged partner find themselves dealing with dangerous criminals, sleazy art dealers, and obstructive detectives in a race to capture the killers...and just maybe bring closure to a 75-year-old crime.

Published 2017; 224 pages.

Steve's got the gun range tonight. I'm going to take care of Ryker and read. That's it.

Have a good day

Much love,

PK the Bookeemonster
