On Kindle, I'm currently reading HUNTING PARTY by Elizabeth Moon (another of her girl-in-space series!). This is first of the Heris Serrano trilogy. Here is a description:
Fleet officer Heris Serrano came from a family of Fleet officers, so when a lying superior forced her to resign, life lost all meaning. To pay the bills, she became "Captain" of a rich old lady's interstellar luxury yacht, adding insult to injury. But Cecelia, the rich old lady, had more brains than most admirals Heris had known. Being a rich old lady's hyperlight chauffer seems boring, until Heris finds herself fighting for her life against smugglers.
Published in 1993, it has 384 pages. I just like this author's storytelling.
TGIF! But this weekend should probably and will probably be mostly about housecleaning for the holiday. Oh boy.
Tonight on TV, maybe Say Yes to the Dress or The First 48.
To add to the suspense, though ordered last week one Christmas gift won't be arriving until Christmas Eve. Bah humbug.
Have a lovely evening...
Much love,
PK the Bookeemonster
